I made the caramel apple. OMG I will never buy flavored creamer from the store ever again! French toast and eggnog are next! Thank you so much for sharing. ❤

I make caramel apple granola with Dulce de Leche and King Arthur apple syrup. Oh my it’s yummy. Pretty sure it would make a good creamer. I’m in NE Tenn! Glad the algorithm put me on your channel.

I just put eggnog in my coffee or hot cocoa when we have it Which is hardly ever Waaaaay too much now. I used to buy a qt every wk once it hit the stores in Nov. Then it was gone early Jan. We get maybe 2 or 3 total whole season now 🥺

Can't wait to try and gift some! How long will each keep in the fridge? All I could think was how much you must have been buzzing after making the video 😂. And yes, I was a little concerned about the amount of almond extract in the French toast recipe, but I will trust you 😊

Could you use pumpkin pie filling if you don’t want to buy all the spices ?

Oh my gosh, thank you for sharing these recipes! I am an American living in Scotland and they do not do creamers, not even half and half in the shops here. They do have Starbucks, but they don’t pay taxes over here, so I refuse to buy y thing from them. And I miss my flavoured coffees…especially pumpkin spice. They also do not sell eggnog over here, so that will be first on my list to make for your creamers lol. Do you have an eggnog recipe that is failproof? I am never back home in the US between Thanksgiving and xmas so never get to buy any prepackaged stuff to bring back with me lol. The caramel apple creamer sounds amazing! While I love pumpkin spice, being born and raised in Vermont, fall means apples. I do have to make my own apple cider over here as well because they don’t have that either. When I first moved over here I was so homesick for the fall flavors lol. Thanks again for sharing these yummy recipes!I have everything to make the eggnog creamer and am about to go make it for a nice cup of coffee. It is a cold and wet day here in the highlands, just the kind of day for a flavoured coffee. I may also make a bunch of these creamers to add to the baskets I make for the neighbours for the holidays. 💖

I've always wanted to visit Scotland! I hope you enjoy the recipes and they give you a little taste of home. I have used Martha Stewart's recipe for eggnog and everyone seems to like it, but I go for an alcohol free version from The Mindful Mocktail and sub in rum extract for the malt.

@ I highly recommend a trip over, and it is usually cheaper to fly over here from the US than for you to fly across the US. I spend about $500 round trip per adult flying from Edinburgh to Boston. I could not get a flight down to FL from Boston for under $800, it was outrageous. I was home this past summer visiting family and then went to visit a friend in Arkansas…it was just shy of $1,200 per person round trip from NYC. It really shocked me. Of course we have real cheap airlines here for travelling to Europe as well, so once you get here, you can travel further, should you wish to, without spending a great deal on flights. But do make sure to bring a rain coat and boots when you visit, it averages about 5 days a week for rain lol. For best prices, check out Iceland Air and KLM. Both offer comfy seats and short layovers. 20-30 mins in Iceland with the former, and 20 mins to 2 hours in Holland with the latter. KLM has the best legroom in economy and the widest seats too, so you can get a little comfier than with most airlines. Delta does direct flights from some airports around the US to Edinburgh and to Glasgow. They are nowhere near as good as the other two for comfort but for direct flight it is worth considering as well. And if you come over, give me a heads up and we will be happy to take you out for a meal and introduce you to locals…highland cattle, sheep, and goats that wander free with the red deer, roe deer, etc. because the deer are not hunted like the ones back home, they are not overly afraid of humans and will pose for pics for the tourists lol.😂 My little brother visited a few years ago and was so desperate to hunt the red deer lol. Thanks for the suggestion for the eggnog recipe, I would go alcohol free also. I use spiced rum to make my vanilla extract and vodka to make my homemade tincture/medicines but am not much for drinking. Xmas is a general exception as I make my own sloe gin and will have a small bit of that topped up with sprite on xmas eve. If I decide to have more than one the family says I am getting to be a lush. The eggnog creamer is divine! I cannot get over how easy it was to make! I usually limit myself to two cups of coffee a day as I have rosacea which makes my face really red when I have caffeine but this creamer is so delicious I may have to have more! 😁 If you open my pic up, this is the view from my kitchen last summer when we bought the place. Right on a sea loch. We sit on the deck in the evening and watch the dolphins come in to hunt for their dinner in the loch. I still pinch myself lol. We have a hectare of land and will be growing most of our own food, canning, dehydrating, fermenting, etc. as the nearest large grocery store is a 2 hour drive away, one way. I have always preferred cooking from scratch, as that was how I was raised, and finding ways to make the things we enjoy that you normally get when going out is a bonus.
