Wow, lots of hate for water cooling in the comments and I’m just in the video dreaming about how much I want to get into custom water cooling again lol x'D

This happened to me a couple of years ago, went back to air cooling and never looked back.

Liked this video at "Only a flamethrower can save us now". I like the way you think.

This happened because you didn't use a anti static bracelet. Had you done so, the green mutagen wouldn't had leaked. You're lucky the ram didn't start leaking either.

Usually I use fan coolers but this is my worst nightmare with AIO' spending all that money only TO watch it go down the drain. I'm not hating on AIO's but this is my fear

The pump in my first AIO failed 92 days after installation. I know that number exactly because the warranty covered it for 90 days and Corsair refused to accept responsibility. It's been very nice to simply pull the fan off a heatsink, clean and lubricate it or swap it out entirely without having to remount. Heatsinks don't just 'go bad'. I've largely gone back to air cooling on everything I use day-to-day, really only using AIOs for showcase pieces.

This and experiences/videos from other tech youtubers convinced me I'm still not planning on getting an AiO in 2020.

Many times the AOI can be held responsible for all damage, contact them... You've got nothing to lose by contacting them...

These quick videos work absolutely fine and I enjoyed watching it - the green gunk looked vile!! RIP :(

Yes, please, feel free to make quick videos like this in the future. There's nothing wrong with having multiple levels of quality in your video uploads. Think of how many similar KZbin channels to yours do precisely that. Thank you for sharing your experience with this AIO cooler. Also, I'm glad to see that you are feeling better.

My guess: Pump failed, temps shot up, internal pressure shot up, plastic body softened, coolant oozed past seals, plastic clip softened and broke.

Awesome, another TastyPC video! Glad to hear Orchid made a quick recovery :) Also, what's with the talk about the quality of the video, seems impeccable to me?

Plastic bracket fails -> AIO comes loose -> Temperatures rise -> AIO ramps up to maximum continously -> AIO starts failing and leaking.

Oh no, I guess the only thing to do is build a custom loop. You have to, your hands are tied XD

Bummer. This happened to me once - water from the pump dripped stright onto my GPU"s power connectors, resulting in major artifacting. Thankfully, everything was fine, after I let it dry. I then exchanged the AIO with an NH-D15 and I've never looked back. AIOs are pretty much dead to me.

I remember leaking my custom loop a few months back when I attempted switching to the ML360R, went all over the psu which fried. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I decided to get a Coolermaster case and higher watt psu (I had a basic gamemax and cheap fierce pc loop before) now I have great cooling whereas before my 1080ti and 7700k used to be always in 80's sometimes 90's when gaming. Great channel btw! 😁

Great video, keep em coming! Would love to see more of the little 'vloggy' vids like this between the more involved ones
