My Biggest Landscape Photography Adventure ever. OM System OM-1

This is the start of a new chapter for me. For the first time ever I'm taking a multiple day photography trip. The start was tough when I had to say goodbye to my kids but this trip became absolutely epic.

Going to be a very exciting trip. That 150 to 400 combined with some aerial perspective gives some amazing results. I have been disappointed with some of the weather reposts lately myself. Great shots! Keep on going Guido. Mike

It deffinitly was an exited trip! Is shot some of my all time favorite images here 🙂 the weather here in the netherlands has also been terrible. So uninspiring for months. Really beautiful location. I am watching this from a humid 34⁰ day here in Brisbane so I am a bit jealous of that colder weather and snow filled scenery. I look forward to watching the other videos of your trip.

This was a exceptional location. If you ever want to visit a cold destination then this is definitly worth it. Bit out of youre comfort zone but i gives unique content. Ja leuk he ook voor de kinderen erg leuk om te kunnen laten zien wat ik allemaal gedaan heb. En dit was slechts een soort intro... De hele week zat vol fantastische foto momenten en prachtige plekken maar dat komt de komende weken langs. Bedankt voor het kijken hopelijk ben je weer een beetje opgeknapt :) Grt guido

Wow, that was incredible Guido. Congrats on embarking on this trip and missing the family! Great start for the adventure and I would love to visit there. Any northern lights chasing in the agenda? I wanted to hit all the scandinavian countries someday. Still thinking if I want more aurora chasing or experience the midnight sun 😂 what a great motivation to visit there, unknown and it’s up to you to map it out 😁 looking forward to seeing what you create. Ow, and we did chase the Northern lights but didn't see it, unfortunately. But during one of those nights, I did photograph a different, very rare, natural, phenomenal fog rainbow! Will be one of the videos somewhere

Looks like a nice place! I think you were there at the right time with changing weather conditions. And nice photos already in this first video, I really like the shot with the pine trees fading of in the distance with an occasional tree standing out and no horizon.

I was so lucky not to be there one week earlier. Not sure if photography would have been possible with temperature between -30 and -40 degrees Celsius. That was a bit of a abstract shot wasn't it. I wasn't sure if it was good enough actually. I wasn't 100% happy with all the shots in this video but that is also because I know what more there is coming. The video that is coming this Thursday might be one of my best videos ever. Hope you will like that one also. Thanks for watching and you're comment I appreciate it. Grt Guido

Now the chap who runs the tours we are going to Iceland with Rob Cannis has one in Kuusomo Finland We have been a few times now in the winter months and have experienced those stunning winter conditions which I absolutely love I’m sure you are up to the challenge of finding something no one has photographed before

I definitely made some unique images and videos on this location. One of my goals was actual to see if i could run a photography workshop / trip from that location so who knows in the future... So you definitely like the cold destinations haha. Finland, iceland nice! Haha yeah there is some wildlife coming. Don't know if reindeer are considderd wildlife in Sweden but I photographed them. And I have the lens for a few more weeks so who knows what time can find. Thanks for watching grt guido

Kan je nagaan ik heb 20 jaar in de autobranche gewerkt... Ik zag ze vaker rijden maar ik dacht altijd dat het een bedrijfsnaam was haha. Lastig van mezelf te zeggen of ik daar beter in ben. Hoi Guido Leuke video. Ik kijk uit naar je volgende video’s over deze fototrip. Goede insteek om naar een nieuwe onbekende plek te gaan en om niet een locatie te kiezen waar iedereen al tig keren is geweest en die heeft laten zien.

Ik vind het altijd een beetje saai om naar video's te kijken van plekken waar iedereen al geweest is. En ik houd er al helemaal niet van om foto's te kopiëren die ik al eens bij iemand anders gezien heb. Dus dan was dit wel een prima locatie inderdaad. Dit was slechts een intro met niet eens echt geweldige foto's. Heb net de video voor donderdag klaar die word echt geweldig met een paar van mijn beste foto's ooit erin denk ik. Bedankt voor het kijken weer hopelijk stelt de trip niet teleur :) Grt Guido

@theflyingdutchman7127 haha daar ben ik me steeds meer bewust van. Volgens mij gaat het heelmaal niet zo zeer om wat je maakt maar meer om hoe je in de markt brengt. Zo isnde eerst ICM foto ook bedacht denk ik. Maar mooi dat je zegt andere top fotografen 😅 zo hoog heb ik mezelf nog niet zitten maar toc bedankt 🙂

@@GuidoVanDeWater ik volg hobbymatig verschillende natuur/ wildlife fotografen van over de heel noord Europa. En weet je wat mij opvalt, ze blijven gewoon zich zelf en zijn daar door authentiek. Dat maakt het zo leuk.

Sorry, but you did not land in Stockholm city but in Arlanda halfway between Stockholm and Uppsala, actually a bit closer to Uppsala than Stockholm. And Linsell is not a town but a village. The most town-like place in the area is Sveg.

Haha, yeah, you're right. I guess it's because I bought a ticket to Stockholm and not to uppsala. In fact every airport in the world is not in a big city but in a place just outside the netherlands is no difference.
