When OP found that PS-5 for the son, bought it, then gave the credit to the mom, I think tears may have literally squirted from my eyes. OP didn’t ever need to do more than what he had already done to make it clear he was a really good man. Then he did this PS-5 thing and took it to another even higher level. These people sound amazing. They really deserve one another. I hope it works out the way we all hope it will. If so, that is a very lucky kid. Not only has he always had an incredible mom, he is going to be getting a next level dad as well. This kid can conquer the world with parents like that behind him.

Story 1, NTA. You can get married anytime at a courthouse and no one even knew that they were engaged. Plus given how entitled and selfish the cousin and her family is I wouldn't put it passed her to make that announcement out of spite and make reception all about her. Plus that her boyfriend has been fired that's triple if not quadruple times more likely that they want to hijack the reception so they get a free reception. Update, good on Nicole for not letting the horrid cousin get away with her plans to steal op's spotlight. Not surprised that the cousin's mom tried to down play everything til she knew the jig was up. I bet the cousin threw a major tantrum that her plans weren't going to work and had to pick a different date. Pretty sure when she got drunk was her moping that she's not in the spotlight and just a guest.

I absolutely loved that last story, my hubby and I were in a similar situation. We were friends for two years before we realized we had feelings for each other. My daughter used to pray every night for a dog and a Daddy. She got both and in that order too lol. Hubby and I are still together 33 years later. So hope it works out for the three of them.

I'm not sure but I think that story 2 is wonderful. He's known Kenny and Cassie for 3 years now and they've been helping each other out during this time. Their relationship became a strong one based on friendship and respect. When Kenny called OP like his dad, that was heart-warming for me. When the right time came, Cassie asked OP out on a date and they did this. He found himself an attractive woman who will take care of him just as much as he will take care of her. So what if they're taking it slow. Rushing into things can be more problems than good. To add to this, I hope that they do get married together and build on their current family with an addition or two.

This is an offical notice that they are informed and will be used in court. Have the letter signed for delivery. Create a video tape explaining the letter and the situation. Also explain that while under normal circumstances you would LOVE to have all of your relatives (them) at your wedding, the situation is so full of drama that they are not invited. If they should up or cause more drama about this, you will not only take them to court, but share this video on line for family and the public. They won't say or do anything.

He's a good guy and Cassie sounds like such a sweetheart. I'm happy they found each other and how things were progressing. My ex wasn't like him at all. In fact, I actually bought Christmas gifts for his mom and grandmother to come from me and my 7 yr-old daughter (we were newly engaged and I hadn't met his parents yet, they lived across the country from us). He happily went on his trip the Christmas to see his family and took our gifts... it wasn't until later that I found out he did give his mom and grandmother our gifts, some of their favorites, mind you... and they were so happy he'd give them these and remembered what they liked (from him... not us... we were never mentioned in the gifting of these gifts)... And the bigger poke was he didn't buy them anything else, he just gave 'our' gifts to them from 'him.' That should have been a huge red flag to run... Sadly, I didn't run until after being married 2.5 months.... that was a terribly long and miserable 2.5 months, which lasted for another 17 years, but we are all free now from that mess and family... We had an infant son, just born and when he turned 17 he finally cut them all off. They are trying to come back into his life at the moment, offering him the inheritance he walked away from like it's a carrot to grabbed... but that's a reddit story all in its own. Love your channel and vids... Thanks for posting these. I start off, oh, I'll just watch one or two and then I'm so engrossed in these stories that 7 or more will be watched before I realize it, lol.

1. I can see it now. Cousin and new husband show up to the reception and say, "Guess what guys? We got married today also!! Let the festivities begin." I wouldn't want them there either.
