Does he have any experience competing? Didn't he say he used to compete in amateur boxing and MMA? Yeah I'd think he would wreck those guys. But at the same time he's in his mid 30s with a beautiful family. Can't imagine he would want to do those things with very little payoffs

Now im 76 kg, buffy. Waiting to get to 80 kg before i began to cut. All im saying is that i am trully grateful that i found about this channel and also the warrior behind this channel. If you want to live long, try tai chi and chill. Just my perspective. People who go hard don't last. It's not Nature's way. I do some shadowboxing too and unique dynamic workouts but living stress free is important. As one gets older you realize certain things.

I wish i understood why carbs seem to beef people up. Muscles are solid mass which means protein. Carbs are fuel. It doesn't make sense in my mind unless it means the extra fuel means you workout harder. THAT makes sense. But if that's the case, how many extra carbs would you really need? Not a ton right? I wish science was far enough along to explain these things.

Why do guys want size these days? If you're lighter, you're faster. Bruce Lee could put any guy down. Work on technique.
@cnryt52392 ай бұрын
And when the bigger guy has the same or better technique?
@ScriptKiddy232 ай бұрын
Sure, but I think there’s also a thing to be said for prioritizing aesthetics. Fighting optimization is important if you’re intent on competing. But in terms of day-to-day living, feeling confident in one’s skills, appearance, and abilities is one of the easiest ways to mitigate stress and anxiety.

Ultimate point of martial arts is to end a fight before it can begin. Being big might make someone think twice before a punch is ever thrown.
@gael.75932 ай бұрын
Not everybody cares about fighting. In any case, weight classes exist for a reason. When two individuals have a *similar* level of skill, the bigger and stronger one *usually* wins.

Bruce Lee was an actor, man. You know who can put anyone down? Heavyweights lol

I remember your videos back on the shred diet, your portions were really small too... what's the reason you've wanted to put on size? Purely for lion dancing? Do you find it harder now to eat less junk now that you've added carbs back in + pizza? What are you plans moving forward with weight? Salute 🫡

I used to be lean with 65 kg weight but it didn't helped in street fight...Trust me you need some mass between your skin and bones as it is useful in absorbing blows and strikes...Robust physique is always a good idea not muscle bound like unnatural bodybuilders but strong and robust physque...if your collar bones are popping out that means you need some mass in the body...
