Hey guys! Hope you enjoy todays video - I'm sharing my daily weight-loss routine, and also some easy habits that you can use to lose weight. Sorry this one is a little bit on the long side, I edited it as much as possible (to make it as short as possible) - but I felt that there was a lot that I wanted to share in this one. I will try my best to keep videos shorter for you guys in the future! Lily it's hard at first, but it gets easier. I had a hard time as well. The craving might actually be your body saying it needs a certain nutrient. Google "craving substitutes" you can find healthy alternatives to the junk food you might be craving. For example if you are craving potato chips, try nuts or pop corn. Your body might be telling you it needs more calories or fat, and you mind automatically thinks CHIPS! But if you eat some almonds, peanuts, etc. it's not only healthier, but it will most likely make that craving for chips go away. Lily I know. I lost weight about a year ago, and it was like it just fell off. But a few months ago my family and I were victims of the Louisiana flood, and we lost EVERYTHING!! I became extremely depressed, and the depression caused me to stop doing anything. Going for walks with my daughter, caring about what or how I eat. It has beed quite a rough year for us. But I'm finally crawling out of that deep depression, and feeling a little better. Enough to make me want to shed these lbs again. To kickstart my digestive system I did a week of just green smoothies....with the occasional oatmeal with cinnamon and almond milk if I felt like I needed something to get my blood sugar up...I'm hypoglycemic, so I can't let my sugar get too low or I will pass out and possibly go into a coma 😳. But after detoxing my body with the green smoothies, I have had almost no cravings. I still crave things, but it is usually something healthy. Last night I was seriously craving Lima beans! 😂 who craves Lima beans? 🙋🏻 losing weight has definitely been a struggle this time, but I just got sick of feeling sluggish and lazy EVERYDAY! The smoothies really helped, though. They gave me that jumpstart to me engine, and now I give it the file it needs, rather that what I want. I eat to live, I don't live to eat. 😉 Incase you want it Green Smoothie: • 2 handfuls of leafy greens (I do 1 of kale, and 1 of spinach • 1 handful of frozen bananas • 1 handful frozen pineapple • 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed • 1-2 cups of filtered water (I start with a cup and add more as I go until I reach the consistency I desire)

A great tip I use is to brush my teeth after my dinner/last snack. The thought of brushing my teeth again prevents me from eating more bc my laziness conquers all. :) Also, I just bought your ebooks today and am excited to start your 12-week program. I love your balanced, no bs approach to fitness. Everything seems totally achievable with a little bit of hard work.

I eat 3 healty meals a day with 2 healthy snacks and if I work out I eat 3 snacks. I've been doing this since the 20est of january and now lost about 9,5 kilogram. I love the energy I get from eating healty meals and only drink water. I don't do cheatdays anymore because my skin gets acne and my belly hurts. I love this video!

Bri Jade thank you for your support! I just want to be the girl that jumps around and plays beach volleyball in her swimsuit this summer! Before I didn't only dare to stand up and have fun but I also didn't have much energy! Now I can run 2 miles without a pause! I'm 13 and I'm very obese. I'm trying to lose weight and it's my third week, I love watching your videos for motivation to run and eat healthy. I just love the fact that you're realistic and not like " yeah I only run like 3 hours a day and only eat 400 calories" and you're so down to earth and so much fun to listen to. Maybe it's just me, but for some reason I don't like my water infused with any fruit or vegetable! I'm on a weight loss journey right now and I've lost around 26 lbs but I still have another 50-55 lbs to go. One thing that's really keeping me accountable is my KZbin channel since I'm documenting my weight loss on that. These are such great tips though! I love watching weight loss routines.

I am LOVING your videos. I have totally found that a balanced diet, being thoughtful about calorie intake, lots of water and almost daily hiit workouts have finally helped me lose the weight I needed go! I have lost about 15 and probably have another 15 to go but I already feel sooo good.

Thank you this helps so much!! I have gained 80lbs in 4 years while recovering from Anorexia and bulimia. I decided that I am now ready to lose some of the weight I've gained (probably around 65lbs), but this time I'm focused on my health and sustaining a healthy lifestyle :) I lost 45lbs in 4 months so far, but I've been obsessive and I'm starting to fall back into a toxic mindset and ended up purging for the first time since recovering unfortunately. I'm so unhappy about the whole situation, but I will start following your meal plans and recipe, because they are all foods I genuinely enjoy, and I am lactose intolerant and have a gluten intolerance as well, so it's great that your meal plans are free of those things :D I love your point system and I will definitely give that a try, because calorie counting becomes too much of an obsession for me. Dani Q Hey!! I can totally relate to you! I tried really really hard to recover from bulimia (non purging). I binged every 2-3 days and the days after I starved myself or juice cleansed because I felt soo bad. This continued over a year. I did not have a steady weight. At that time I was depressed about some personal matter and as well as obsessing about losing as much weight as possible. I can truly say, that I recovered now. I am 5'4 and my weight is 127pounds. It took me in total about 2 years (binging 1year included) to get to this weight. I overate two days ago for the first time, after my "recovery". Even though I ate about 4500-5000kcal that day I did not feel bad. I just thought that day was a huuge cheat day. I am pretty bloated yesterday, but I went on, like nothing happens. If I punished myself I am pretty sure, that I would binge sometime soon again. When I was young, I really liked to dance, so I started going to zumba classes. I go three times a week now, and everytime the class is over, I am so happy with just thinking that I am going closer to my goals! Look for something that you enjoy, something to look forward to! Stay strong!! You can do it💪🏻

I’ve struggled with my weight all my life but more so after I had my children. The root of the issue was never not being able to control what I ate, rather I have pcos and insulin resistance. I truly lost hope and thought I would be stuck living the way I was living until I started changing little things and soon I lost 70lbs. This channel has inspired me even more to keep going and maintain because if I eat carelessly, the weight comes right back and brings the nightmare-ish symptoms of pcos and I insulin resistance. I’m really grateful I’ve stumbled across this channel because it makes me look forward to planning meals and knowing exactly how many calories and carbs everything has. I did this back in December for 2 weeks and I lost so much weight, but of course after Christmas I stopped and gained some of it back through going back to my old ways. But Literally I only look towards you, Liezl, for these awesome meal ideas that actually work! I also started drinking Rooibos tea, and every time I drink it I think of you lol! I love how balanced your lifestyle is, and that you don't edit out healthy fats or carbs. i have prepared myself for some months. First no gluten then I stopped snacking and now i add sallad and veggies to my plate. More everyday. And a spinach smoothie. Fruits to the breakfast. My calories go down while the volume of the food goes up. I eat three double than before and calories are 400-500! Thanks Liezl. I also realized my calories were far too high all the time and fat was too high and too much starch. Much work to do!

I use mynetdiary to count calories. it's super easy to use because you can scan the barcode on the package of food and it adds to your calories, fats, carbs, and protein. Plus since it's on your phone you take it everywhere with you. lol my goal is to lose 15lbs by prom (already lost about 4.)

I tried eating so many different meals since I stared my health journey and I would feel like it's a lot of food but then I'd still feel hunger pains later. I realized I needed way more protein than I was getting to feel full. I always feel more satisfied when I add a good amount of protein to at least two meals in the day. Which is even harder since I'm vegan. Lots of tofu lol. It's just so funny how different everyone is some people are full on carbs and good fats but I NEED PROTEINNN

I actually looked up how many calories I would need in a day if I had my ideal weight... It's (to maintain the weight) abt 2.000 calories (20 points) or to loose weight (at abt 0.5 kg per week) a lil less than 1.600 kcal (16 points). I'm abt 1m65 high and I don't know if that stuff is correct or not, but I know that rn (if I didn't move at all) my body would need abt 1.800 kcal and I heard that I shouldn't go below that so yh

I like how you word it habit over other terms like tips because I am able to instill in my mind that it's consistency over doing it once and it takes time and adjustment. I've lost 9lbs from March and I'm still going hard to lose more. I eat lots of veggies and fruits but I've noticed I struggle with portion control.

I just tried squeezing fresh Lemon and then putting rice vinegar over. Y roasted vegetables and chickpeas. I was super surprised that those toppings were so delicious. Game changer! Never knew I could like my veg without a fair amount of fat (or sugar).

Could you make a video about stretch marks and loose skin if you had any? How you combated it, how you dealt with stretch marks, etc. I know some of this is very superficial but many people do worry about these things!

Ooh, about learning to love water: I used to despise broccoli. I don't know why I didn't like it, but for whatever reason, I just didn't. Same with kale and carrots. Now, though, these things are some of my favorite things to eat---especially in soup! Wise words and true, too!

I too used to hate cucumbers,oatmeal,,peanut butter and most especially I couldn't bring myself to drink black coffee(no sugar no milk) ayeeeiii!!! it was very difficult and now I drink coffee every single morning and for the others I mentioned I eat them throughout every week

Love your videos but I also think Habit 6 you should have mentioned that although having a GOAL in mind is great for weightless, it should also be turned into a LIFESTYLE because after that goal is reached most people may just go back to old ways :) loved this video so thank you for sharing, I've definitely learnt a lot

NB; Amendment - straws now come in metal and bamboo. So it's not necessary to use plastic straws. Not that it's necessary to use straws anyway - but, if one chooses to do so, then buy a metal one.

i've tries tons of diet and meal plan and none of them worked on me.....complicated to count, lots of product to buy in powder that taste awfulll and thousands of dollars spent away and then i saw one of your vidéo....i just ordered the bundle and i will try your recipe BECAUSE it seems simple, tasty and truthfully you dont look like someone who will try to make money over my journey....Your advice are honest and you only relly on good healthy food. I really hope it work for me this time !

Habit #1 the rule with water (since NOT ALL sizes fit ALL) Drink ½ your body weight in ounces of water (I.e.) A person weighing 100lbs (for easy math purposes) he/she would NEED to drink 50 ozs of water to hydrate the body. If he/she drinks coffee, soda, and/or alcoholic beverages, he/she would NEED to drink THAT much more in ounces to account for those liquids that are dehydrating the body.

I have a similar body composition to yours and I don't eat nearly healthy enough. Just kind of makes me wonder what I could achieve if I actually did. Sometimes I feel like my goals are out of reach. And thanks for being one of the few people out there who are actually sensible about calories. 1200 is what I need to intake in order to lose weight and that is a number that was tested and calculated by a licensed dietitian (NOT a nutritionist). People are always shocked by that number but when you don't move around a lot on a daily basis, you really don't need to intake that much "energy".
