Hair-lo coily haired cutie,
This is my full 4c hair stretching routine, which I do on clumped hair - • 4 Steps to Creating CL... . In case you don't feel like watching that one, note that clumped hair is an old twistout with plaited/braided roots.
I hope that seeing my 4c hair stretching routine will help you create one that suits your unique head of hair and your own needs. You will see that in my 4c hair stretching routine, I started off doing 4 plaits at night but switched to doing just 2. If you'd prefer a more polished look, I'd recommend you stick to 4 throughout.

So, i learned that may hair must be “clumped” to grow and remain thick. I’m so happy more people are talking about this. Mini twists, loose twists, small flexirods, finger coils allow my hair to flourish and stay detangled. Blown out styles, twist outs and braids out will literally break my hair of at the ends and cause so much shedding.

Agreed! The only way braid outs and twist outs work is if I don’t separate the hair after

I haven't tried clumps with braided roots, but to maintain twist or braid outs, I usually put my hair into two big loose braids and re-moisturize the ends if necessary. I learned that wrapping my ends in a Bantu knot (which I learned from you! Thank you lol) helps the ends look uniform, neat and prevents knotting.

That sounds really similar. I'm pleased that you have a routine that works for you. I love that that end wrapping technique (from NappyHeadedJojoba) works so well for you too.

My hair looks like yours (just a bit lighter in color). To many people it always looks "rough and untidy", but no matter how much I moisturize, it looks just like yours. But honestly, I like it cuz many can't tell if it's loose hair or locks especially when it's in a protective style . I do clumping + loose two twists. I have fine hair strands and let me tell u it's the best thing I have done to my hair. I first learned of clumping from Wholly Thine on KZbin then I saw it on your channel. I have retained more than two inches this year already (my hair is now 16+ inches). It works. By the way, you are doing great on your channel. Thanks a lot.

Greetings and Thank you for your energy and efforts. YOU are very much APPRECIATED dear Asha. Will you kindly explain what the terms you are using, mean?..... Such as 4c, 3c, 2c type hair, Clumps and Clumping Stretch your hair As well as any other terms used as you make the videos. They are unfamiliar to me and perhaps others. I am 65 and can only remember braiding, platting and cornrows. 😊 Thank you again.

I am still struggling with getting the clumping down. Is it easier to do on pre-stretched hair? Ok, I re-watched your video on clumping, I realize you began doing the clumping as rope twists but use loose twists now. If my hair does not cooperate with clumping as a loose twist, will doing the clumping as a rope twist still be ok to use? Also, could you provide a link for the flaxseed cream & Irish cream products?

Hi there. I recall on a previous video, you mentioned you keep your roots clumped indefinitely to reduce manipulation. Yet at the end of this vid, you suggested only clumping for a week maximum. Please can you explain?
@NaturallyHigh
@NaturallyHigh 2 жыл бұрын
Keeping the roots plaited is not the same as wearing the hair in clumps, which are the result of a twistout.

@NaturallyHigh
@NaturallyHigh 3 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. Clumps may not work best for you. If that happens and you're already frequently applying leave-in and oil, your hair may simply be loc-inclined. I'd steer clear of this style in that case.
