I love all these people on here trying to be rude and berate this beautiful woman for how she makes her potato salad. Just because someone makes their food different from you doesn't give you the right to act like a horse's ass. And also: No one is forcing you to watch this. If you watch some of it, and don't like it, then don't make it, and don't leave stupid, nasty comments, either. This woman is so fun to watch, and she's been cooking for a long, long time. Just be respectful. It's really not difficult. That said, I don't care how she makes her food. She reminds me of my own grandmother, and that makes her great to watch. I am passionate about my cooking channel, because of two reasons, #1..I want to get people back in their own kitchen; cooking a meal a least 3 or 4 times a week. I am 76 years old, and I've been cooking since the age of 6 years old. That's 7 decades. Thank you very much for sharing this nice recipe. I see with your hard boiled eggs they all had that grey colour. Add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to your hot water and it will not affect the taste at all. It will make your egg colour a very bright yellow, and the white a very bright white. Thank you...

Ms Da'thy, I have a tip for you regarding hard cooked eggs so they peel like a dream. Steam them instead of boiling. I put mine in a steamer over about 1 1/2 inches water. I time them for 12 minutes after the water starts boiling. I cut off the heat and let them set for 10-15 minutes then plunge into cold water and peel when they are able to be handled. The peels just seem to slip off and I hardly ever have any whites chunking off. I have even used this method with eggs straight from the chicken - those super fresh eggs are notorious for being horrible to peel. If you don't have a steamer, just put 5-8 table knives crisscrossed in the bottom of the pan and then add the water and eggs. The knives will keep the eggs above the boiling water. You have made me hungry for potato salad so I need to head into the kitchen and start cooking! I'll be making a BIG bowl of it, though. With 5 grown men to cook for, who like to have plenty of left-overs on hand, I think I will be doing a 20 potato batch!

I boil my eggs with no trouble peeling them. They need to be fresh though. I have a 4 egg cooker for the microwave that's even better. 9 min, then let them set for 10 or 15 min

Only thing i do different is go from the messy mixing bowl to the clean serving bowl then the paprika, ground pepper. Then the last egg is cut but keep the yolk whole set aside, make a flower petal pattern in the center on top with the sliced egg white and use the whole yolk in the center to complete the flower look. 🌼 TADA !

Old School Cooking. Reminds me of my mother. ALWAYS boiled the potatoes first and peeled them just before making the salad and always boiled at least a dozen eggs (to make salad for about 10 people. That's how the Amish make Potato Salad too. They add so many eggs that they call it "Egg and Potato Salad" and they also add the sugar-- it is DELICIOUS (I live in Southeastern PA). I love HER!
