So not only are they carrying a heightened sense of that same ambient/more chill vibe, they are also picking up and progressing on melodies from all the way at the beginning, as is the guitar (notes played are similar to the chord progressions a bit earlier in the song). It's a simultaneous callback to like 3-4 different parts of the song, while ALSO making it different AGAIN. Absolutely insane. I've been impatiently waiting for Elizabeth to finally hear Sleep Token. They're overwhelmingly amazing. Every...single...song. Vessel is one of my favorite vocalists of all time, his range and expression are among the very best. And the drummer, II, is just...inhumanly talented. I could go on and on but I'll just wait for the inevitable CV Sleep Token journey. Just pick a song and you'll fall in love. And I'm so glad Will joined her for this one. For those who don't know, his vocal cover of Chokehold is magnificent. I gotta ask, if you ever think you know who Vessel is, don't tell anyone. The band's commitment to anonymity is integral to their art form. I'm definitely curious but I'd honestly rather not know, and I think a lot of fans feel the same. ,,
