Avocado is also REALLY good to put directly on your hair as well. DIY hair mask with Avocado oil and avocado mixed together and just keep it on your hair for like 30 minutes to one hour. WORKS LIKE MAGIC IM TELLIN YALL

Honestly, each girl is born with her kind of hair so it is up to you on finding what works and doesn't for YOUR HAIR. Collaboration of ideas is the key to creating your OWN formula for what works best. For "gurus", they simply were blessed with great features to start with and then, with educating themselves through trial and error, they found what works best for THEM.

mel ks that's the only product from the line I haven't tried yet. I've used the gel, the smoothie, the leave in conditioner, and cleansing conditioner, but I've been only using cleansing conditioner to clean my hair. I avoid shampoo if I can. I'm gonna try it soon tho, because this summer has had my hair getting dirty way faster than normal.

the shampoos from sheamoisture are all sulfate free so its not bad for your hair
@brysonknoel
@brysonknoel 8 жыл бұрын
+mel ks i know (they're all organic too), but I have tighter curls so my hair tends to get dryer more easily and even sulfate free shampoo tends to strip my hair too much for my liking. I've been using a little dab of the shea moisture African mint detox shampoo on my edges when i get build-up, but other than that I'm shampoo free.

+Lena Aghaie Gray It's called Heat Training. When you constantly put heat on your hair, you're training your hair to get used to the heat and to work with the heat, causing your hair to become straight over time and lose its curl pattern.

I hear what you're saying about oil. In China and Japan we use Camelia oil. Spray it on my long hair, tie it up, go to the gym and rinse off in the shower. The heat you generate helps the oil sink in and no one looks good in a spin class anyway! A workout for you and your hair :)

Ugh people shut up about her not washing her hair for over 4 days if her hair can handle it that's great. My thick hair also can handle it. If you have thin / thick hair that gets easily oily your not "blessed" you need to wash your hair when it's dirty. My skin is a bitch but I'm not complaining on KZbinrs accounts with beautiful skin about how is your skin so smooth? It's just every persons blessing or not.

I wash my hair once a week. Like, that's one of the best tricks in the book because it just lets the hair become stronger. Going back to using hair oil every time I wash now. I forgot how wonderful it made my hair. I'm Indian, so like almond oil and coconut oil is the bomb.

I keep seeing people comment about not being able to go without washing their hair every day. I was the same way, but I used like a month in the summer to "train" my hair. I started skipping a day, then 2 days, and so on. Yes, my hair was greasy for the month but I'm so glad I did it. Now I can go about 3 days not washing before I need some dry shampoo :)

Don't buy argan oil in plastic battles, those ones aren't 100% and don't have the same effect. Usual argan oil is $13-15 and it comes in a glass dark brown bottle. You came even get one at target for like $13

Your hair gets oily because you constantly strip it of its vital natural oils, leave your hair for 2 days to begin with and then slowly move to 3 AT LEAST. Its so unhealthy and bad for your hair to wash it everyday, it needs those oils :D As you slow down on the shampooing your scalp will stop producing so much oil.

I thought this brand was too good to be true and I was right, even though they claim on the front of the bottle that they are "sulfate free" if you read the ingredients on the back of the products, you'll find sulfates in there shampoos and conditioners! You'll want to stay away from sulfates, sodiums, parabens and silicons! Just passing the word along to a sistaaa 🎀

I have a question: I want to stop washing my hair so often (1 time every 2 days) but I don't know how to do it without looking disgusting. My hair is super dry and it doesn't look greasy but I feel gross if I don't wash it. I think it's so dry because I wash it a lot, so I want to stop it. You say that your hair doesn't look as greasy because it's used to not be washed, so, if I do the same, mine is gonna look terrible. Any tips?
@camrynlino5048
@camrynlino5048 8 жыл бұрын
use dry shampoo to make it less oily! 1 time every 2 days is still pretty frequent but it all depends on your hair type. also, don't worry about feeling gross or anything because it's really not and its completely natural. good luck!

honestly, set aside a couple days where you don't have a ton planned. and let your hair get used to not being washed. if you have to go somewhere, use dry shampoo and you can even put it up in a bun or ponytail to hide the greasiness. I promise it'll be worth it once your hair gets used to it
