Jazakhallahu Khairun for sharing with us! Literally came in the most perfect time. I recently found out that I’m a Fearful avoidant. Currently working on healing it. I found Thais Gibson Personal development course to be helpful. She has a 7 day free trial, and some KZbin videos.

Funny because I said to myself that I dont talk to man because of my Religion. But deep down I avoided it because of my fears. It’s hard to switch it up and try to open up

I noticed i get avoidant with people im not attracted to. And very invested to people i find attractive. Hahaha. Attractiveness is always the baseline for me, then i'll look at his character and whether I can depend on him on bills (my ultimate fear is a man who let go of his responsibilties and I ended up have to cover all the expenses. In my country they are called biawak hidup lol. After marriage these men will immediately resigned from their job, ask you to take loans and pay for the house, cars. Sometimes there are women who have to pay for the expenses of his own family. Crazy right? But unfortunately I know few if these unfortunate women already.)

But how did you decide to marry him based on what? If your self told you it is gonna work? How did you think it it may work and decided to marry? Did you change your standards?

Asalamu alaikum Thank you for your videos, they’ve been amazing ❤️ I have a question - I am on an Islamic marriage site where you accept and decline requests. My family is currently speaking to someone who I accepted from the app but I have had two other requests that sound like they would be compatible with me. Shall I accept these requests or take each person at a time ? I’m a female Jazakillah khair

Wait ! I think the question is : when to know when the red flags your detecting are real ones or just flaws ? Cuz you know, when a couple has hard times : either they fight for their couple and win the fight and no one will ever know , or they just divorce and once one or the other talk about it (exemple the girl to her friends) they’re going to tell her : girl ! How could you let your eyes closed when it was the BIGGEST RED FLAG ??? OmG idk if I’m formulating this well 😩 But like : how to know if a red flag is one or if it is a flaw that can be fixed with knowledge or experience ? Example : a guy that has no idea what mahr is, is going to tell the girl : well no I’m not buying you so I will not give you this or this amount -> well educate him and done it was just a lack of knowledge In the other hand like you said last time if he wants to talk about intimate things on the firsts dates well this shows only disrespect and the fact that he is fine with saying inappropriate things (if you call him out and he is like « no this is important for me) Gurl I don’t even understand myself in these two comments I’m sorry for being so confusing

Assalam w aleyki i hope you are well 😊 I have a question I will do my best to formulate it the best way … Basically if someone has a strong self concept, it’s easier for him to read red flags right ? The problem is, it is really confusing sometimes cuz what is the balance between detecting red flags and being too picky ? Random context : on a date with a potential there was 3 red flags, you know it’s not you being picky because it has nothing to do with your ego it’s just genuinely things that does not match your values and shows a bad traits of character of the person… but at the same time you’re just overthinking it, because maybe the person matched 80% of your criterias and your just like : maybe i was in a phase where my « pickyness » took over my simple lucidity ( my noninfatuation )
