Ali Siddiq is a stand-up comedian, public speaker, and writer out of Houston. Ali’s unique style of stand-up began behind the walls of incarceration, an incubator for interesting experiences and good stories.
People received their first taste of Ali Siddiq when he appeared on HBO's DEF COMEDY JAM and LIVE FROM GOTHAM, and in 2013 he was named Comedy Central's "#1 Comic to Watch". In 2014, Ali impressed comedy enthusiasts by displaying his ability to captivate an audience with his "Mexicans Got On Boots" tale, descriptive storytelling, with over 15 million views, of a prison riot on THIS IS NOT HAPPENING, the first of three appearances. His stories continued with his HALF HOUR special, which premiered on Comedy Central in the fall of 2016. Immediately following the premiere of that special, Comedy Central offered Ali an hour-special where he performed for inmates live in a Texas jail, sending Ali back to where it all started. The hour special, Ali Siddiq: It’s Bigger Than These Bars, premiered in February 2018 on Comedy Central. In 2019, Ali could be seen as a Top 5 finalist on NBC’s BRING THE FUNNY. Most recently, Ali could be seen as a guest on THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE.

She refused my help, only wanted money and wouldn't let me or my family see him til 18. She died last year at age 54 from untreated stage 4 cancer. Karma.

I heard my son tell his grandma ( my mother ) that he wouldn't eat the rest of the food on his plate. I don't mean he said "no grandma I can't eat another bite", his belligerent ass yelled and said he wasn't going to eat anything except some pizza. So, this may not seem like a big deal. I just know I told my mother once when I was about 6 that I couldn't finish my plate after she had told me twice, and then she closed fist punched me in the right eye twice for it. It ain't my fault she put so much food on my plate, she knew I didn't eat much. My son got his little attitude from the neighbors kid , he learned that from him when he stayed the night the previous night, he's never said that shit since or before. My grandma, my mother, just smiled and said "well someone get this baby some pizza then!" as she went on to dump his plate of food into a Tupper thing. I had to tell people I fell down the stairs for a week and a half. I'm white, by the way, for those who are picturing otherwise.

Good for you. Parents are supposed to be parents, not friends. I wanted so bad to go to Disney all through my childhood. I got there a month after I got my first car, when I was 26. It was a 36 hour drive, and it was worth the wait. I bought an old Kermit The Frog green VW camper, and camped on a tiny piece of pavement at Disney World. Thought I was in heaven. Social media has taken away the beauty of anticipation for children, but not the wonder of waiting and watching Ali Siddiq on KZbin.

@@Wrappedinhisglory Their camping sites were like tiny paved driveways, but the setup was as organized as a Nazi work/ death camp.We had access to every form of transportation. Probably to prevent drunk driving messing up insurance requirements. There were low key entertainment areas in the hotel bars. They closed early and had. every kind of transportation available to drive you back to your campsite. We bought a 3 day pass. I didn’t realize tohey were life long passes. We stayed 2 days, and I gave my one day leftover pass to a stranger on the way out. I hope they used it.

We took the kids to disney back in 2017 i think, and it was around $3200 for flight hotel (inside the gate on the grounds of disney) rental car etc- we get epcot my daughter was 10 at the time - everyone's so EXCITED - around 5 or 6 hrs in my daughter is like MY FEET HURT MY FEET HURT- i finally look down HER SHOES WERE ON THE WRONG FEET and wanted us to carry her. im like NOPE ITS TIME TO GO! i was so mad!
