After trying, being disappointed by, and returning so many higher end concealers, I finally trusted all the content creators who sang the praises of the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer, and I am so glad I did. My 66 year old skin, especially my under eye area, is very happy with it. Thanks for doing this video for us.

The Lifter gloss in Stone is a dupe for Tower 28's Cashew! And, it's very similar to the Fenty Gloss Bomb Cream in Fenty Glow. I use them all interchangeably. Loved this drugstore treat! Thanks for mixing it up! 💜

That's great! I will try that one. I couldn't get on with tower 28, it is great and really pretty but I didn't like the smell and for some strange reason it causes my lips to tingle everytime I put it on.

I do enjoy the Lifter Gloss and the L’Oréal tubing mascara. The only thing I don’t like about it is the mascara half has a chunky wand that makes it a little difficult to get in the inner corner. Foundations and concealers from the drugstore are a NO from me because of the shade range-OR LACK thereof. If it isn’t the tone it’s the undertone. And if it’s not that it’s the formula altogether. I know a lot of people like the Age Rewind Concealer but it just does not work for me-TOO DRY. If I did try and use a drugstore foundation it would either be Revlon color stay or the candid formula or No. 7. Revlon makes some beautiful blushes that last well and have flattering finishes.

My favorite drugstore foundation is the Covergirl Simply Ageless (the cream one in the round compact, NOT, in the bottle!). It's just sooooo good! It applies like a dream, sets and won't budgebut is great for dry skin! I also loooove (and I mean LOVE), the L'Oreal Brilliant Signature Shiny Lip Ink, which is a dupe for YSL Lips stain and Lancôme L'Absolu Lacquer. I found that product 2 years ago and I have it in several colors and it is so perfect!!! You HAVE to try them!! 😘

I dont know, maybe i used the cheek heat wrong. But when I used it I found it never showed up on my skin, I put on like 2-3 layers but it just never showed up. And I have a medium skintone so i was surprised to find it just didnt show up. I also found that when I put on one layer and blended that there were places the pigment became streaky while others there was none. I used my fingers, so i dont know if it works better with other tools, but that was my experience. Sadly a bad one, but Im glad it worked for you kackie! Hope this helps anyone thinking about this blush.

Thank you for thinking that not all of us can afford or want to pay $75 for a quad of eye shadows, or $100 so we can say we use La Mer!!....some on You Tube only discuss high price/luxury cosmetics and it's my own opinion that there are some less expensive brands that probably can be almost comparable, but no one wants to use the words Maybelline, Almay or Physicans Formula as it is beneath them...thank you for being down to earth re what is still out there for us.

This is wild - I think you're the first person here on KZbin who's actually liked the Maybelline Cheek Heat, LOL, or at least it feels that way. Everyone else I watched when these were newer who tried them out wound up hating them, mostly for being way too sheer. Maybe there's something magical about your application technique...or maybe it's because you put it on top of powder and that gave the formula a chance to actually grab on?? In any case, just goes to show how different products can perform on us.

Those Revlon colorstay cream shadows are the best and they do not crease or fade at all. I have a few and caramel is my favorite. It's a gorgeous bronzy shade. I'm curious to know how the staying power compares to let's say, Laura Mercier Caviar sticks which I've thought about purchasing. But in all honesty there are way too many good options for cream and liquid shadows in the drugstore category. Another drugstore brand with really good liquid shadows is Kokie.

Part of me wishes that brands would stop putting SPF in foundations (it barely does anything, gives people a false sense of "security", and excludes a lot of people), but the other part of me doesn't care because they don't make a shade for me anyway. Also my brain wants to thank you for the song 😑

I find I like higher end complexion products. I want my foundation and concealer to be like skin care, something that is good for my skin. I just can’t go back to drugstore cheaper options for that. I loved the original L’Oréal tru match foundation when I was younger I remember buying it when it just came out. I haven’t used it in probably a decade though cause I went through a minimal make up faze in my 20’s. I still don’t use foundation daily so a more luxury brand last me a long time so I don’t mind paying a little more since it lasts me such a long time. Right now I my favorite drug store product is the wet n wild megastain lipgloss. It leaves my lips feeling really nourished unlike most stains that dry my lips a little. It wears in beautifully, so I don’t usually even reapply after I have eaten. The warning I would give to you it is HIGHLY pigmented so always wipe off the doe foot so you don’t get messy, it is definitely suited more for the bold lip wearer.

I am so happy to see Revlon getting love , even in the comments section. I am so sad about Revlons bankruptcy and really dont want them to go 😢 . That brush worked so well for me when I used their cream shadow, something my other brushes couldn’t do 🤣. Truly excellent cream formula. I love the lifter glosses but the Revlon gloss is also really good. I picked up the last one on the shelf and was immediately anxious like ‘omg Revlon is gone, finito!’ Anyway I don’t miss my fav Fenty gloss bomb. I don’t feel any of them on my lips. I hate that thick gloopy feeling . Example The Milani gloss definitely felt like that -heavy gloopy feeling. Note - I have matured dehydrated lips. Even cream lipsticks make my lips flake and peel. So these glosses are a lifesaver.

As a frightfully (read: ghost) pale girl, I struggled so much with finding a match with drugstore foundations and concealers in my teen years. Even the Ivory 110!
