Where, if anywhere did you get trained? Any previous paraglider experience? I went from foot launch, to trike, to powered parachute. Oscillations: if you're going to pull brake, you pull on the side that you are oscillating. When your oscillating to the right, you pull the right break and release and then when you swing back to the left, you pull the left brake.. Other than that, just be mindful that engine torque will also cause a torque affect . The easy way is to basically get both your hands up to a neutral with steady throttle, till you even out. Once you have enough ground clearance, make sure you're looking up at your lines to make sure everything is good . On your first take off that initial wind streamer was going to the right, so it looked like you were taking off against the wind as opposed to into it . but then, in the second cut that little white flag seems like you were going into the wind..

I self trained. Spent about two months kiting a wing before flying as well as a the whole winter (5 months) self learning everything else. The Oscillations were from nervousness of pulling both brakes about 2 inches at the same time. If I would have just let go of both brakes (I'm flying an A-B rated wing), it would have just evened out in a couple seconds. Cheers
