I’m not leaving you anything all of my inheritance is going to the church who does that to their children and when they did pass away sadly my mother-in-law father-in-law and my father all passed away in one year Pandemic, they left my ex and his brother nothing and because they had moved out of state their sister who lived with her forever because she had her first baby at 16 which happens I understand that and I do not blame her for helping her daughter, but she’s not anymore. She is a grown adult as our her children, I mean her youngest daughter owns her own house her own car everything they are not dependent on her anymore, but she is now entitled to everything. I mean I’m not a huge fan of my ex but I don’t think he deserves that.

Nor do my children who got basically nothing from her, my daughter wanted a two dollar notebook from Walmart to go back to school with because it had that like glitter sequins on the front that you run your hand back-and-forth on and it changes color and she wouldn’t buy it for her because then she would have to buy one for herother granddaughter so you can spend four dollars on them at Walmart when you’re both retired. Have plenty of money have no house or car payments no debt you can’t buy your two granddaughters a notebook that is what pushed me over the edge. That was the point I never spoke to them again.

No that's not how it works. Parents are allowed to interfere in the lives of their kids, even when the kids are adults. I'm not saying that the mum here did the right thing though. For example, if your adult daughter starts stripping and doing drugs and alcohol and starts doing a pornography career that is risky to her health, then the parents have the right to protect her and stop her from going down a dark road...even if the daughter is an adult.

I don't think the mom has NPD at all. Ironically, Hannah or his ex would fit the bill a lot more. Perhaps even the son. Hannah seems to be shallow, and has a terrible mean-streak (take note of the comment about weight). The ex seems to be manipulative and charming. The mom on the other hand, seems to have no critical thinking skills, some sort of mental health issue, and has very poor boundaries.

Some women with serious control issues do treat their spouse AS IF they are an abused child. They will torment them about being a "Man Child." They will compromise their spouses relationships isolating them from friends/loved ones and literally brainwash them into believing false realities/analogies that nobody else can readily defend themselves against. There is often threats & dire inequality in such relationships eg because she endows herself with special entitlement to a relationship with her friends/ family (often subjecting her spouse to a lack of privacy/ personal space etc) eg when having to holiday/ live with his inlaws/ or have them living in his home whereas there is "boundaries" to him having the same rights & entitlement as her. It remains to be seen how new Coercive Control Laws will aid victims of it before {their true relationship with the manipulative monsters) does long term damage mentally & physically to these men and their children.

We have good relationships with everyone and we were just told that we are now technically great-great- grandparents due to the fact that our granddaughter's second husband's son and his wife just had a baby! We don't even know the son and his wife, but her husband is very friendly and good with company so we accept the new baby as our great-great-granddaughter as ours by marriage. LOL! Because why not?
