My Suicide Attempt

Have you ever considered suicide? I did. AND I acted on it. Here's a video about my attempted suicide...my overdose and what I would say to myself today. Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. Suicide and depression is out of control in the LGBTQ+ community as well as the HIV community...and now with BLM, the pandemic, income & food insecurity and inequality...times are TOUGH. And a lot of people are silently struggling with depression, anxiety and thoughts of suicide.⁠ We must talk about this. We must be a community that serves to support and uplift one another. And we must do away with the stigma and judgement we place on those who are struggling mentally and emotionally.⁠
