@@Maziwamakuu I'll repost this here as I studied history and it fascinates me : Why do African people act surprised on these...The Europeans created the BORDERS we have now in 1885 when they subdivided Africa as their property. Before that Africa was just one continent with people moving from left to right to centre trading and not forgetting the Nomadic lifestyle had no restriction.(Remember when Gadhafi and other Pan African movement wanted the continent to go back to it's original state with no borders and One country. A lot of people don't know that and why Western people hated Gadhafi and other Pan African leaders that got assassinated trying to fight for these like Patrice Lumumba etc). I am Kenya Bantu but my great grandfather had 5 wives and was married to an Ethiopian\Sudanese woman who my direct grandfather(Who died in 2006 at the age of 106) comes from. You looked at my grandpa you would think he was from Arab or Middle eastern because he was so light skinned. So yeah. If I do the test I would have a mix of everything since my brothers and I are so light skinned and all. For Example, We have the Maasai people who used to move all the way North Africa and up to South Africa grazing their cattle. The borders have now restricted them to specific countries. And before the current Arabs that occupy Egypt the Pharoahs were African so.....

Guys what you have to know about Ethiopia 🇪🇹 and eritrea too Ethiopia is a country of originally cushitic descendants who lived in Ethiopian plateau, which have more Semitic descendants that other neighbor, thats what habesha mean, cushite + semite, We have other ethnicity like omotic and nilotic in the border with kenya and sudan which are like around 5% of the population, but most of other tribe had built an Ethiopia lifestyle which make as similar and interconnected, Secondly, we are interconnected by the landscape 70% of Ethiopias live in the plataeus and highland, Like you can draw the territory of Ethiopia by only see the geographical map, because the sharp point between the mountain and lowland helps to see the border of Ethiopia, Even if it might be myth, but peoples say that prophets where Ethiopian, we know that most prophets where israelite and arab but some says they where Ethiopia, It might be because of the Semitic descendants of Ethiopia, What i want to say is that.... Ethiopia is one nation Ethiopia was historical important country 💚💛❤🇪🇹

Also keep in mind Somali is 85% one ethnicity Cushtics and the rest are foreigners who came to live there recently Bantu and Arabs recetmeans 2/3 centuries. But Ethiopia has 87 ethnicities and 99 languages so it’s a huge mark to see which ethnicity. It’s a very diverse country. Which they showed which Ethiopian ethnicity and also remember 1/3 of the land in Ethiopia is owned by Somalis.

I remember reading that Tutsis were deemed to have more Horner DNA than other groups in Rwanda. I did not think much of it at the time. I guess there is some truth to it. Interesting. To be honest, they used to look kind of like horners too, but there is more mixing now, so less so these days (I'm not trying to spark any political issues in saying that). I'm Ethiopian, and weirdly this person has an Ethiopian cadence too and he pronounces Somalia like a Somalian ("Somaleh"). Not saying that's necessarily a genetic predisposition, but again it's interesting.

The Somali people are the regional central core of the Ethio-Cushitic peoples. Somali is the largest and brightest star in a beautiful constellation of related stars. Ethiopia is next, but there are many others like Yemen which is only a dim red dwarf star in the cluster. The Yemeni is mostly Arab, but we can see the Cushitic trace in them. Many other peoples also share a portion of common blood. All throughout Africa are other Africans who have dispersed kinship with Somalis and Ethiopians. The Cushitic peoples. 1600? Alur tribe from Congo came from Ethiopia but they still speak same language as Anuak people of Gambela,Ethiopia. Why would Tutsi loose their language in only 400 years! Both Tutsis and Hutu came from the Horn of Africa and they are the same tribe except some had mixed with horn African people a lot such as Tutsis.

This discussion of Tutsi origins almost never actually considers historical and even biological facts. The archeological and also dna point to the original homeland of Cushitic and Nilo-Cushitic populations types as the area around the great lakes and the rift valley's -- what does this mean? --- Its the ancestors of Somalians and Ethiopians who migrated North , So its them who have Tusti genes not Tutsi who have north east african genes-- its north east africans who should be calling their ancestry Tutsi not you calling yours north east african ! You cannot say a child is a parent to his father -- it doesn't makes sense! Tutsi and other Nilo-cushitic groups from the great lakes and rift valleys areas around Uganda ,Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya are the original inhabitants of the area and are infact older than North east africans in Eriteria, Somalia and Ethiopia . The difference is they eventually had higher diversity because of incoming migrations of Bantu -- so Tutsi have a higher admix of Bantu ancestry , and also intermarried alot with Khoisanoid people who are also ancestral to the great lakes --- but they largely cluster with other Nilohamites like masaai, samburu, karimonjong, Iteso ,pokot, rendille, marsabit , Who by the way are the original inhabitants of East africa _ it warped now that we speak of Bantu as if they were the original inhabitants and others the migrants -- yet the historical fact is that Bantu are the migrants to east Africa. The gene flow direction is actually racist because of the perceived superiority of North East africans to Africans in the interior -- but harsh historical reality is that the ancestors of Tutsi and other cushitic and nilocushitic populations in the great lakes and the rift valley are the forefathers of North east african populations!

@commonsense6797 2 ,false it is other way round ,we(Tutsi) came from southern cushites who came from southern Ethiopia and Somalia and who mixed with southern nilotes and central sudanic speakers during pastoral Iron age, there's archaeological evidence of showing our migration being from north to south especially in Kenya and Tanzania ,yes we have eastern hunter gathers,Bantu and later nilosaharan admixture (nilotic DNA and related) but it doesn't mean we are from them , remember cushites already have nilosaharan admixture, nilosaharan speakers originated in Sudan not great lakes region which was occupied by various hunter gathers search luxamanda archaeological site, las Gael etc will show you we are from there that's it.

@@JayKahns the founding cities of Aksum in Tigray and Ethiopia like Qohaito and Yeha were tributaries to Saba most likely as a left over of the DM’T kingdom, there was always an association there but the genetic and cultural makeup differed. As Aksum developed, those regions in Saba were annexed into the empire for a time. This contributed to the small semetic admixture and language transfer found in Habesha, but we are often 70-85 percent Cushitic in stock.

@@jejeaye7021no the hunter gatherers like the Khoisan or Pygmies were original inhabitants of East Africa first then we Cushites migrated there from northeast Sudan and mix with them during pastoral neolithic, then nilotes came from sudan and also mix with us (kalenjin, ateker, maasai are nilo-cushitic), then much later bantus came and assimilate most of the cushites and khoisan tribes. So that is why in kenya and tanzania especially the kikuyu, kamba, meru, etc have a lot of cushite/nilote and even some Khoisan DNA because of assimilation.
