I just found you. I’m 73 and exercise everyday, I don’t do as much yoga as I used to as it got too hard on my wrists but I still do at 10 minutes of yoga stretching everyday. I do about 20 minutes of other exercise as well. I mention this because, as you said, I realize regular exercise is what allows me to go through life without injury. So many of my friends cannot walk very far without wheezing, or get down on the floor or bend over. I agree exercise is the closest thing we have to a fountain of youth.

Thanks for sharing. Modifications is the key. Practice. Discipline are the keys to success. Movement at any age. Movement that feels good. Never stop. Seated poses on a chair is just as good if getting onto the floor is hard. 👍❤️

I just found your channel and I am also 77 and I am going to do your workouts ! Thank U and U do look great ! And there are not many exercise lady on KZbin at this age. U sure are inspiration. I do workouts at home now, at gym before an I am slacking and my strenght is not as great, have to do it every day, not skipping. And I wil !!!!!

OMG I’m so happy to find your page! I’m 62 but with all the prednisone and other rx damage my dr says I have the body of an 80. Plus will a fibromyalgia diagnosis working anything out is painful so I think I can do your videos! At least try! So Ty😘Ty😘Ty!

Wow! This just popped up in my feed! I’m 61. Had horrible back and hip problems last few years. They want me to have surgery on my spine! It’s sucks. Always in pain. I’m going to play this routine on my tv in the morning and try to do some of it. I’m good at stretching but never have I done yoga! Can’t wait. ESP the hip flexors. Thank you.

That is the Yoga “ Salute to the Sun”which is the basic exercise recommended to do daily because it ‘ covers’ all parts of the body .

A lot of 70s have osteoporosis. Some of those are contra indicated for brittle bones.

I have been doing yoga for about 20 years... I am 51 year young now.
So hot and wonderful. I am 51 and I exercise 2-3 times on most days, a mix of running, cycling, swimming and weights. And I also take some very relaxing and luxurious rest days. I am in the best shape of my life and only getting better. I have endless energy, virility, and libido. I am truly having the time of my life.

I think you mentioned you have osteoporosis. I was just diagnosed at age 61(now 62). Looks like you still do twists? They say no for OP? I think you mentioned you have OP. I have done yoga for past 13 years to help with fibromyalgia and neurologicial attacks /symptoms I developed ( no MS diagnosed). You are so limber! How long have you done yoga? I can no longer put weight on wrists at 90 degrees which is frustrating in yoga.

How long do you typically spend each day on exercise? I’m sure you vary it, but I’m curious, if you don’t mind my asking. I am 72 and try for about 45 minutes to an hour 5 days a week, and I’ve done that for years, but not seeing the results I had when I was younger. It’s very frustrating.

I use to spend about 2 hours a day working out but now it is usually 1.5 hours. You do have to change up your routine occasionally to continue to see results.
