After becoming the first and only ever entrepreneur to have been offered twice the amount she was asking for in the Den, Carol Savage returns to the hit BBC TV series. Having turned down Theo Paphitis, Carol secured a six figure deal with Deborah Meaden to help take MyDish.co.uk forward into some exciting new arenas. Here Carol catches up with Deborah as a new deal with one of the UK's leading supermarkets is signed and sealed.

Deborah is so impressive. My mom has schizophrenia, she couldn't even take care of us when we were babies, she left when I was a baby. When I see strong women I really wish my mom was strong.

It would have made a massive difference if our mothers were stronger mentally,

$28k monthly burn rate is Dresden 1945 bad. With the said the site is still alive and looks nice. Downside is no apps and it looks a bit stale but in the end that's fine for a recipe site. They did well and hopefully they're profitable.

Human life would be so much more miserable without intrapreneurs. There's so much value they create that most of us take for granted.

There are already so many amazing recipe sharing sites that I cannot understand why someone would spend so much money building another one. The online ordering idea is cool but most won't use that anyways and it's not enough to get me to change to her new site especially when hers lacks the high volume of recipes and users that the more established sites already have. I hope everything goes well for her but I personally don't think it's going to make a profit.

This clip is quite a few years old so I expect that when the site was first launched that there weren't as many of those kinds of sites as there may be today. That being said, given that it's been around for a while you'd expect them to have cornered the market or at least gain a big share of the market and be ahead of other sites. I don't know if that's happened. Another commenter said there's no app for the service which, if true, doesn't bode well.

I live in Poland, the whole excitement is going to the local shops and buying the ingredients, almost completely gone in Britain, there's a thousand local cheaper shops near us, just in our street alone there's 6 butchers/Delis no large supermarket (TESCO)for two miles, far dearer, there's a veg market round the corner, local grown spuds are 1zl (20p) a kg

@BOOZE & METAL I live in Norway. There are no but hers or veg shops. It's all plastic packaging. The UK is far better at fresh products than Norway...
