Yeah it was. A online relationship we've had for about 4 months. We went from talking intensely every day multiple hours a day sometimes to radio silence. Honestly its really the best thing you can do she has alot more respect for me now that i showed her that i can live and thrive without her after coming off as abit needy and insecure initially. She is way more flirty and things are just generally better.

No contact does work 100% of the time. If they return, it worked because they missed you, and the idea of losing you made them appreciate you enough to come back to you. If they dont return, no contact worked because they didn't miss your presence and were ok without you in their life. In either situation, you win. You either got them back or stopped wasting your time being manipulated by that person.

I did the no contact thing for me, he got into a monkey branch rebound relationship. Once all of my stuff was out of his house and my mail was transferred I went into no contact. That was 9 weeks ago, I did it for me for me to prove my value not only to myself but to him. So you go into no contact for yourself. Your own respect and your own growth. You don't go into no contact to think your ex is going to miss you so much. They're going to come flying back. Raise your own value and see what else is out there for you.

My husband basically monkey branched to the coworker a few weeks after I left after I discovered their emotional affair. He told me he wanted a break so I organised to and moved out and he said that I didn't have to move out. I think he was shocked I actually went through with it. After being separated 2wks he told me he wanted to see other people...I told him not to come back to me. I didn't go into no contact straight away which I regret but I am now after setting a lawyer onto him. Haven't spoken since early November. I do want him back but he is seeing this other chick. I don't think he will miss me or want me back. I am hoping it falls over with the coworker and he misses me. Married 15yrs, together 17yrs. I did at least remain loving, kind and amicable the entire way through. I know the lawyer thing to divide assests is damaging but I hope it makes him think about potential divorce and not actually want it. We were great together but he needs to work on himself. 😢

She came back to me on Day 60 exactly!! Nightime text. Nighttime is when they are at their weakest. I said....holy shit....it worked!! She told me she was dying in silence without me. She was shocked that I didn't chase her. Stay strong people. When you get that text or call...you will see too that it works. Almost all of my Exes that broke up with me have wanted me back at some point. I think a large reason for this is that I was always good to them and just a very kind person overall. The consolation prize for being a good person is that your ex will one day regret breaking up with you. Doesn’t stop them from breaking up with you of course unfortunately. I think how you treated them plays a big part in whether they regret breaking up with you or not.

I think people misunderstand what “No Contact” is. If you’re just going to mope around and Wait and wait and wait with no contact and do nothing with themselves, nothing is going to happen. The purpose of No Contact is to break free of you obsession with this person and work on yourself to where your ex or whomever can see your growth and that’s what attracts you back. Coach Lee knows this. I’ve used his techniques before and they do work but you have to do things right.

I just wanted to share this with you all: after 3.5 months of no contact my ex came up to me in the gym and said that he just wanted to let me know I look like I've made great progress. He then kept close by and basically followed me around. Eventually we shared a friendly conversation but I kept it casual. The entire time he looked like a lost little puppy dog and I even felt bad for him. Believe me, no contact works if you work it. Needless to say I've been focusing on myself during these months. And you know what? I don't plan on stopping. This journey of mine is so past the point of just getting back with my ex.

It’s been a year of NC, and she never reached out. Not saying it does or doesn’t work but NC is the only option. If they don’t want you, the only option is to go no contact. It may not get them back, but it is better than chasing, thinking they will come back, or not coming to the realization that it’s over. Go NC and never look back. Stay strong everyone!

More than 2 years. Not even a minimal signal from her (save for a couple of days she watched my stories 3 months after the breakup). If i know or have knwon what is going with her life it has been on my own, investigating. She never blocked me and only removed me from her ig friends; she simply ceased all communications and publications (obviously she setted the privacy of her social media to be this way). It is long ago that i do not suffer that acute and emotional pain from the break up but it still saddens me, specially since we were friends for more than 20 years.

Well, sometimes you have to reach out after no contact to the other person to see where they stand. You can go NC for a month or two but then you can reach out if they didn't. And then if you see that nothing changed on their part you can move on.

It took me about 3 weeks to finally go complete no contact. It was strange the first week. She had reached out on my birthday. Then a few more small exchanges. I finally was left in read. I started seeing the relationship for what it was. Now over a year later. I started moving on. Met a new woman. Was on a trip with her. Out of the blue a message pops up. It was my ex who thought I should know about her girlfriend who was passing. I responded with sympathies and condolences. Then went back to no contact. She responded with a thank you. It’s been two weeks now and she hasn’t reached out since. I know the services are coming up. So I almost anticipate her reaching out again. If she does she does. Update- 8 months NC now and I cant believe how emotionally strong i feel now. I did 4 months of therapy and workout regularly. I share time with my daughter in the week. My fiancée said, "I think we need some time." I was not perfect, I apologized, expressed my feelings about how I feel about her, how I feel about her kids, was there when she asked for help (during separation), tried to talk to her, tried to meet with her, and August 10th, I pulled away and went into No Contact. So, 46 days later, she reached out but just because her living situation has changed and she asked if I can take any, if not all, of the animals. I bought two of the cats for her kids and she has a dog and cat. So, I was making peace with the idea of not hearing from her. She did not have to ask me about the animals and could have just taken them to the humane society. Also, she wants to drop them off at my place since she does not want the kids around. Also, she doesn't need to do that since I have the apartment key, can go grab the animals, and she can take the kids elsewhere. So, really, this could just be an excuse to see me and the animals are a way to try and stay connected. However, I am feeling better emotionally and mentally. Also, have been going to the gym and have been noticing a physical change by putting on muscle. So, does No Contact work? I would say, "Yes" but it is not to get your ex back. It is to get YOU back. Still working on it and making positive strides in the right direction. Coach Lee and Coach Ken helped me a lot with this. Any time you feel like reaching out watch one of these videos.

I found this channel and its gold. Thanks coach. It gives me so much strength. A few months ago she told me she had doubts about our relationship. She had not a specific reason. Just a feeling .. listen to coach lee the only route is no contact no matter what. yes it is possible to get them back by reaching out first, but you'll always wonder how long it would have taken them to reach out or if they even would have. and most likely they will just end things again shortly after anyway. trust me its not worth the stress and anxiety everyday of wondering if they will leave again. go no contact and work on yourself either way you win.

I just want to put this out here because these videos helped me. I was in a situationship for about a year but she ended it after saying she met someone. I chased and begged and did all grand gestures etc for about 2 months and she got angry for each gesture I did leaving me wondering. I decided to stop chasing, this gave me see space to process everything and my love started dwindling. However after 4 weeks something happened and I reached out to her and perspectives were different. I was not willing to jump into anything with her as I felt I needed an offset to all the chasing I did but the most important take is that she said she was thinking I would never stop chasing her and decided to act in a humiliating way so I can give up against her nature going by advise of her friends. She says she regrets it but I don't know how I feel I feel I've undone many things at this point but still like her enough. No contact in my opinion shouldn't be about the other person no matter how hard it sounds it should be about you. You might think you can't breathe without them but time heals everything gives you time to review the whole situation and gives you the power to walk away if or when this person returns.

No contact does work but that doesn’t always mean getting back together. Sometimes you do, more frequently you don’t but you are able to heal. A lot of these coaches over exaggerate the frequency of people getting back together, which isn’t all that high, and they also tend not to mention the huge percentage that get back together and then break up again. Coach Lee doesn’t make claims about how often people get back together, only that it is the best chance that one has, and that makes him the best and most honest coach on KZbin. As much as many don’t want to hear it, this channel is as much about helping you heal and move on as it is about getting them back.

I watched Coach Lee video on "how ex tests you" and I didn't fall for her trap. Obviously she wants me to bail her out. Want me to reach out only to reject me again. And it did work. However we broke up again. And now for my latest relationship mentioned above we've been together for 1y 7mths So this is the first time I'm applying NC on my current ex. I don't really mind if she is not going to come back. I've been through this. So I'll be fine either way

I don't know who needs to hear this but no contact actually works because you will actually get better and start to live your best life and they would start to regret and realise how much of an amazing person of you and they fcked up and they would come crawling back to you. Trust the process. I once listened to this on repeat when I had no hope, but then one day, boom, it no longer hurt, and then i realized how amazing of a person I'm.

I think your videos are so good Lee! I’m going through a break up. At first I thought she was bluffing. We had just the weekend before had slept together then we had an argument and she said it was over after 21/2 yrs. I’m in no contact and it’s hard. I feel terrible but you have helped me no end. If she has a therapist what advice is she getting about me in no contact? Also her Mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a month ago too. It’s bad bc we both love each other. Been in no contact for about 2-3 months. Been getting better and feeling better about the situation. But a couple days ago I get a no caller ID at 2:40am. I assume it was her but I can’t confirm. no-contact works very well. But the hard part is balancing what comes afterwards. In my case i was dealing with an impulsive ex gf with BPD. So it became a power struggle on her behalf. And for the last year she just drove me crazy. Shes gone now. But we will see how long that last. Alot of the time. At least in my case. They arent worth going back too. She cheated and slept around with multiple men. Yet still acted like she wanted us back. Nah. your rebounds werent all they where cracked up to be. Nor did she like me holding her accountable to the person she claimed to be.

I was going through a lot of heartbreak with my family when my Ex decided to end things. He was sobbing, I was not. I was so blindsided I asked why and okay. He kept wanting to hug me but I refused. He wanted to be friends because he "loved me and wanted to support me through this hard time" but I said "thats not going to work for me". He cried even more after I said that. I didn't fight, I just left with very few words from my side. I cried my eyes out when I got home. Its been two weeks and I've done no contact to a T. It really hurts and I am afraid that he wont come back because I didn't fight for us. I just respected his decision. But I've realized through no contact that I need someone who will be my rock when hard times happen. Our relationship was very good so I'm still very heartbroken. okay i feel better writing it out, thank you for reading.

Just went over 150 days since my break up. I did write to ask about getting back together after 2 months but was rejected. Stayed in no contact. She reached out at the beginning of the week. Wii l which was a very awkward text conversation. She has since blocked me on Facebook. I'm still confident she'll get back in touch even though she said she met someone new. I know I'm still in her head. I just have to wait till this new thing for her runs its course. So back to no contract😂

it’s so wild that this video, out of all my recommendations upon opening KZbin, that it’s this specific coach Lee video, lol. I had a dream that I broke no contact. Kinda scared me, with how real it felt. I fell asleep on the couch in real life, & FaceTimed him while on the couch in my dream. The actual FaceTime in the dream felt like we were back to normal, but my internal dream self knew I messed up. The call ended/he hung up because my dream self fell asleep. I woke up (dream self) checking my phone, disappointed that I broke NC. Literally felt like I ruined everything. When I actually woke up in real life, I was so relieved that it wasn’t real.

Coach, I have previously interpreted no contact as: "you can reply to them if they reach out, but put in less effort than them, and never initiate contact". Now I'm seeing many coaches define it as no communication at all, even in response to things like "I miss you" or even when they spill out their feelings. What's your definition?

He usually says that if they do reach out, not replying may be a huuuuge mistake. No one wants to be rejected and the chances for them to reach out again get really low by then. Also, it takes a lot of courage and swallowing their ego for them to contact you, right after they said they didn’t want you in their life at all. Still, you should keep your interest level low and the conversation polite.

I went into no contact after she broke up with me, and I ran into her at my best friend’s club while i was celebrating his birthday. She joined our table, stayed with us the entire night even joined us to go eat. Hey coach Lee, we meet again. I took comfort and knowledge in your videos during my last breakup, and alas here are again. Another relationship in the trenches. I have a question for you I hope you could answer or even possibly make a video on because I think it could be relevant for many people. Question is what if your ex is also going through therapy and every time they have doubt about the breakup their therapist might be encouraging them to stay away and not reach out?
