I don't think I've had one single hot flush. HOWEVER, incredibly uncomfortable discomfort in my vagina. with the urinary symptoms, for the last 2 plus years. Horrible! Finally the other day I was listening to an interview with Menopause Taylor and her saying generally oestrogen vaginal cream is a must. A real light bulb moment for me! I then called my current gynaecologist first thing next morning and basically demanded the cream. I have had 5 different women's doctors since this started and no one mentioned this to me! (I am in Germany BTW, so sadly, things are not much different here as far as the stigmas surrounding this whole topic). All the other things (occasional burning in my wrists, pain in my back and feet, and occasionally this "lack of emotion" - horrible but personally not frequent, thank goodness) are minor in comparison to the vaginal pain and discomfort I had before starting the oestrogen cream.
