Hi Al, I'm a relatively new subscriber to your channel - Dave Brzeski, a few weeks ago, introduced me to the channel, and I'm so glad he did as you've rapidly become my favourite book tuber out there. I've been working my way through your past videos and loving them - your passion for horror is so infectious. You're the only book tuber I've seen do a video the great Ramsey Campbell - and to make it even better it was on the Star books which were my first introduction to his works. Managed to pick up a copy of the Far Reaches of Fear on Star the other week. Mind you, you've also cost me a bit of money - thanks to you I've ended up buying mark Morris's Warts & All, Lord Dunsany's Two Bottles Of Relish, and all the Titus Crow novels (in 3 volumes) by Brian Lumley. I really enjoyed today's videos - a great selection of books. Hope it's not too long before the next video. Are you a fan of Basil Copper? If so would love to see a video about him - I'm a big fan. Hi Pete! Thanks for that. Dave is a legend! I love Ramsey too and those Star paperbacks are some of my favourite paperbacks in my collection. Apologies for costing you money, I seem to have done that to a few people, haha! It was never my intention. Yeah, I do like Basil Copper, and yore right, he’s ripe for a video! I’m going to try to get another couple of videos done this week, I’ve got a recent pickups one to do. Really g;ad you’re enjoying the channel, mate!

Pete's Sounds From the West Coast is one of my favourite music based channels on KZbin. I've been trying to convince him to start covering books too. I did notice a copy of Occult Detective Quarterly #1 on the sofa in one of his recent videos. ;)

Was getting worried you had vanished into the KZbin algorithm never to be seen again lol. Great to see you back 👍👍 Love Hardback books as well - it's the feel and the smell lol. And some of the older books have some really nice artwork engraved into the covers.

At last! They told me not to hold my breath waiting, but I did hold my breath. I may have died, but don't think that lets you off the hook... I am still here! I will always be here! I do not fear the exorcist, so don't bother! Nice batch of books. I remember buying that M.R. James when it came out. I may have bought the Matthew Lewis when it came out too, but don't tell anyone!

People may look askance at book smellers, but you can't smell a tablet can you ? Unless you want to get a seat to yourself on the bus. This was a great haul, especially the older books 💀

Haha! I’ve found that sniffing pretty much anything on the bus, with enough enthusiasm, guarantees an empty seat next to you. And if that doesn’t work, just sniff whoever sat next to you. That gets them to shift! 😂
