The 18,000 were previous fines. He can pay at the time of renewing insurance or tax or when he gets money. He has not earned 30,000 crores like udyanidhi in two years to pay these fines immediately. In the slips given for fines, is there any time limit to pay or the vechile will be seized???. If insurance is not paid, then only the bike can be seized.

Even I had been fined by these same group of these traffic police earlier, they were behaving so rudely and didn’t respect the public those who were caught be them ! . The role Police is to guide and protect the public and not to over rule them.. this is a serious issue!!

The vehicle he has driven has compound fee pending as RS 18000/= as per their previous records and it seems that the vehicle rider seems to a frequent offender . Vehicle has to be detained until the dues cleared .

Yes. Bro just now I checked the vehicle info. He is keep in violating. He has 18000, he is thinking that value of bike is less than that. So no use of paying.

Traffic police should avoid confronting road users and instead use technology like ANPR cameras to penalize violations. Traffic violations cost human lives. TN tops in road accident deaths. Traffic policing efficiency is questioned . Respect the law for Your own safety and safety of others. Don't die on the road like stray animals. Police are here for a good purpose. Respect them and don't paint them bad. This road user has pending unpaid challans hence the police impounded his vehicle.
