Emirates B777-300/ER NEW BUSINESS and ECONOMY CLASS Complete Review.
After my spectacular New First Class ride on Emirates to Brussels, I flew back in their NEW Business Class. During the flight I also get to find out the NEW enhanced Economy Class seat! This video shows a lot of details from the cockpit to how the meals are prepared and as usual with a lot of crew interaction.

I would like to thank Emirates who provided good access for filming. I have an amazing flight but I always remain independent on my opinion in the video. My focus is to deliver that airline experience with unique access to the aspiring audience. Tried out many music to go with the video, but at the end I decided to use the Emirates theme song as it seems to have a bit more magical touch :)

If I were paying full fare for business, I don't know that I'd be too thrilled to be the center seat in that 2 3 2 configuration. It seems to me like Emirates scaled the business class back on personal space in order to fit more passengers similar to BA. I'm much more a fan of business class seats that offer more privacy and freedom to get up without disturbing a neighbor. My AA business class flight from LAX to HK may not have been as nice but I definitely had more personal space than Emirates is offering.

Evan J honestly AA has really nice business class seats. I mean they use the same Reverse herringbone and Aerospace super diamond like a lot of airlines do. But still very nice products.

If I'm flying business I would not pay for anything but a 1-2-1 configuration. This is stupidity in my opinion, I've flown Emirates first which is great, but would never fly this product when there are many better choices, like CX, SQ, LH, LX not to mention the other Middle East airlines..

Sam, great video as always!! But sorry I don't care how nice the service is or how many "cool" features the seat has, if I pay over $5K (or more) for a seat, in today's' world I expect it to be an all aisle configuration 1-2-1 in a 777. I much rather take my trusted American Airlines 777 business class seat with it's sub-par service and food than having all that "posh" from Emirates and either be stuck in a middle seat, or have to be woken up at the middle of the night so another passenger can get up. Emirates now is for First class or Economy.

Sam. This was such a pleasure watching. I think for me the best part about this whole video is when you showed the behind the scenes food preparation. I’m highly impressed by how hygienic the staff are. They really are clean in how they handle the food. If I ever get to fly Emirates, my mind will be at ease knowing I’m eating food that was handled well.

As much as I love Emirates, I think a 2-3-2 business class is unacceptable in 2018. Hell even a 2-2-2 layout is. All the other gulf carriers have 1-2-1 all aisle access now (except some old Qatar planes which are being retrofitted) and some (like etihad) have 1 -2-1 business class since 10+ years ago. There is a huge difference between Emirates new 1st class product, which is an industry's best and their business which is abysmal at best.

Agreed 100%. The Soft product on Emirates is amazing, but to pay thousands of dollars and have to either jump over someone at night so that you can get up, or be woken up by someone wanting to get up, is unacceptable. I guess Emirates is Either for First class or Economy, skip the business class.

Hahaha, to call Emirates business abysmal might be a little excessive. It would certainly be unpleasant, but not the worst thing in the world. No doubt the automated seating system would only place passengers in the centre seats after all others had been filled, and only for people being upgraded for free or paying by points. Your chances of falling in one of those seats are low - esp for those people talking about paying full price

I think the layout could be better. You either have to climb over people if you need to go to the bathroom or worse yet, be the one getting disturbed not only from being climbed over by people in the middle or window seats but having the flight attendants in the way of your entertainment during meal serving for the person next to you. With that said, it's better than economy!

Sam, I follow your videos and love them. But perhaps clubbing two classes in a single review didn't go down very well with me or other travelers like me who can only afford to fly Economy. Two moments in this video kind of stuck out like thorn, if you ask me. First, you telling the Pilot to hurry since you were flying Economy that day. This sounds a bit derogatory to common fliers like myself. Secondly, yes we do get hit by trolleys, and thanks for reminding us that. I guess Economy and Business class reviews should be done separately.

Thanks for this review Sam. I don't think we've seen enough details though like how are the restrooms, what kind of amenity kit you receive, when can you order your meal (especially in business - can you choose while taking off what and when on their Samsung?), how are the blankets in all classes, toothbrush availability in economy and about the 2-3-2 layout, I think you could be more negative about it while keeping your well-know polite tone. I know it's always easy to criticise but with you are doing reviews for your viewers/subscribers and not for the airlines so, no, 2-3-2 in business is not OK (or 2-4-2 BA for example) or like the strange position of the flatbed in new Singapore Airlines business class (not appropriate for businessmen who want to keep their haire and back in good shape), also not OK. It's your job to say it loud and clear without hesitation if you want frequent travellers to still respect your work. These are expensive airlines and as stated by other people here, when you pay your full price ticket, you expect something else than having no privacy in business class. I'll sitck with QR and CX while flying business for the moment. I don't travel economy class anymore except for flights less than 3 hours. Sound is much better, great and thanks a lot anyway for taking the time of sharing all of this with us.

The money spent on business class does not justify me having “navigate” past other travellers. Think about a medium to long haul, you’re sleeping and your neighbour wakes you because they need to go to the toilet... Sorry but I’ll say that I hate this...1-2-1 is the way to go as you can get up whenever you want without being reliant on your neighbour moving. Or worse yet, you having to move every time your neighbour wants to get up. I was on a flight recently where my friend was quite unwell and she got up about 10 times to my 1... having seat config like this would ruin my whole flight.

I’m ex Emirates crew and never once had a passenger complain about this. 9 times out of 10, the person in the middle seat is flying with the person next to them. Most wise solo travelers will book their seat in advance to not end up with a middle seat.

One consideration is people do not need to complain for there to be an issue with your consumers... myself, the risk of this event occuring will result in simply actively avoid business with this config. That will result in flying an alternative airline or flight. side note: The concept of flying feels like a dream right now.

Flew business on this aircraft yesterday from Adelaide to Dubai. My only criticism is the 2-3-2 formation in business so not direct aisle access for all. Apart from this, simply stunning.

yes Sam I do agree with you that the new Boeing 777 has improvement from the older version. However, would still prefer the A380 for Emirates business class, the seats for new Boeing 777 business class looks longer than the old ones but still feels kinda narrow. Good review!
