Hi Paul and Anthony, for me your vlogs are absolutely perfect the way they are.I always save them to enjoy as I wind down with a hot drink after work on Saturday night. The style and content are superb, the narration gives the feeling that you are being spoken to as someone who is a welcome visitor and not being talked at as some vlogs to.The vlogs feel totally inclusive and welcoming to everyone regardless of wether they are experienced boat owners or like me unlikely to ever be fortunate enough to have a boat but totally fascinated by the sheer beauty of everything that you come across and show to us. I am probably not the best person to make a comment about the length of the vlogs as I would happily watch for ages ( and regularly watch an earlier one after watching the latest one ) I had no idea just how beautiful that part of the country is. thank you xx

Right, after so many locks, I'm convinced that if I ever get a narrowboat, I'm nicking David's idea and calling myself "Mooring the Cut". The heavens definitely heard Paul's comment about roasting and decided to do something about it! Re the presentation style... Hello Paul & Anthony. Loved the video of the Huddersfield. I do, love the lushness of the Canal, but, the one thing, that I've always despised is getting rained on. That has been a pet peeve of mine since I was a child. I would even carry an umbrella to walk to the barn for milking. I never go anywhere without an umbrella, if there is even the slightest possibility of rain. I even carry an umbrella if it is snowing. Right now, all the trees are turning and the autumnal colors are beautiful, Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons. Paul, just do you, your natural voice is just fine. I would add to the other comments that I like the vlogs as they are! I used to like being out in the rain on the boats I worked on in the Mississippi River, the stormier the better (that's just crazy me). Then coming in, drying off, and cooking a nice big supper (we would have ten days on the boat, five days off, so I lived aboard for those ten days). Not that a sunshiny day isn't nice as well. :) Take care, guys.

Relaxing. Peaceful. Gentle. These are the words that come to mind when I think about your vlogs. They have a very different flavor from the other vlogs we watch - and we appreciate your take on things. I like the nature sounds, the scenery, and the bits of overheard conversation that makes me feel as though I'm there on the boat part of the journey instead of just being shown. I think that a 20 minute video is just about ideal, but I'm not turned off by a vlog that is longer or shorter. Anyway, this is certainly one canal we would love to cruise. It's so pretty. I don't mind the rain - as a matter of fact we hired during the autumn just to make sure we'd be happy in all - well just about all seasons. We loved it! The colors! The scenery! The peace. We did have days of glorious weather, but we also had plenty of grey and wet days. We got DRENCHED and we STILL loved it. So that's how we knew...

Don't change! This format is great. It's not forced and therefore more realistic. People often say, "I wish I were a fly on the wall." in order to secretly know what's going on in situations. Well, that's almost what this format is like, as if we're all secretly there with you two and watching you both going about narrowboating. We get to see the scenery and the work that goes into using the canals. We get hear all of the sounds including nature, boating, and your spontaneous banter. The format you've created is not about the two of you, it's about the experience. It's relaxing without being boring. From here in the US, my wife and I think that you've both hit the sweet spot of narrowboat content. Keep it up. We always look forward to your vlogs.

Another fab vlog guys. You really don’t need to change a thing. If anyone wants over the top high energy then they can watch Foxes! Your presentation reflects the quiet and calm of the canals. Just one thing worrying me. Please take your fenders up in locks, they can get stuck like you experienced or you can get wedged in the locks, which if you were going up and water flowing in, could be catastrophic! You can buy very thin inflatable fenders which will squash against the lock sides if you really need to keep fenders down. Keith from the Tiller People has these. Stay safe. Xx

Very happy with the gentle pace, beautiful photography and overall rhythm of your vlogs just the way they are. The sound of nature is all the music I need but having said that there’s nothing wrong with some complimentary background music as long as it doesn’t intrude or overwhelm the natural cadence of the vlog. I think your presentation hits just the right level so as a viewer I can enjoy some of your experience. For me any kind of music is inappropriate. Most of the TV nature documentaries are spoiled by loud pop music - what's that all about? To enjoy nature and the countryside you need to hear the wind and rain in the trees. In any case, being nosey, I like to hear what you're nattering on about.

Another fantastic vlog guys & Dexter. The scenery was spectacular. Have you ever thought of having a camera set up on the bow. I think the scenery from the bow would have been brilliant! Only 7 weeks now until we leave Australia heading for Yorkshire. In fact we will be staying only 5 minutes from where you were cruising today when we arrive. Hopefully our Narrowboat will be ready for handover at the end of February next year. We can’t wait to start our own journey. Please give Dexter a big hug all the way from Australia. Hooray I'm the 100th like on this one. Great to see you guys again but I'm guessing that the canal you were on would be absolutely stunning in better weather. . . Thanks for braving it and showing us your travels. That brings me nicely to your content and how you present your vlogs. . .
