Video idea: I dont know if this would be possible at all, but because surfing is debuting in the summer olympics this year (2020) maybe you could do a challenge where you train like a professional surfer. That would be so cool to see how much improvement could be done in such a short amount of time!

I love this for many reasons. One for bringing to light breast implant illness. So many people aren’t aware of it and many women have it without realizing it because it’s not broadcasted like any other illness. And second, her saying that she felt guilty for changing her body. For not being happy with what she was born with. That hits home to me. I have probably a larger A cup and I always go back and forth about getting breast implants. I got made fun of by my family, MY FAMILY, for having small breast and now all I can do is compare myself to every female with bigger breasts. Completely destroys my self esteem. But this, this lets me know I’m not alone. It’s not her fault she wanted to feel better about herself and it’s not my fault that I compare myself to everyone but when we realize that we should just love who we are no matter what we have, than that’s when everyone opinions and even our own negative opinions about ourself no longer matter. So proud of her. Thank you for this video ❤️

My mother and my aunt have large breasts and i am a 34C. Ive always wanted to change them make them just at little bit bigger. I know what its like comparing yourself to another female, its become almost a normal thing in my life to the point i think i might have venustraphobia which is the fear of beautiful women. In the past 3 or 4 years ive realized i was doing it to myself like making myself scared of them because i would just think theyre better than me what can i do nothing. But the past year ive learned to love most of my body while i still want bigger boobs i no longer get super scared or anxiety attacks looking at another female i think is extremely beautiful or gifted in the body department. Im slowly finding confidence in myself.

Yes! Breast implant illness ruined my life, absolutely. I was so limp and weak that my boyfriend was carrying me from room to room. It was dreadful beyond compare. I hope if women know the risks (that surgeons obfuscate) they opt out of this procedure. It steals your money and your well-being. Luckily I explanted and wow, all my symptoms are gone! Because this is a real affliction, no matter what people say.

@@d.mclovin5701 I want to change my appearance mainly because I have so many health problems (SVT, hypothyroidism, the beginnings of degenerative disc disease, and anxiety). I use to be so active doing aerial silks, rock climbing, mountain biking regularly to just barely being able to walk up a flight of stairs and being out of breath while doing it. It's been about 2 years since my heart procedures and im just now starting to be able to work out regularly but my diet is still wonky. I know im beautiful and it helps my boyfriend tells me daily. I just want more confidence in myself and not have moments of uncertainty like "am i really pretty or am i just saying that to make myself feel better".

Ellie This comment is so relatable. I have a chronic neurological condition and an old spine injury that has made it a necessity to rearrange everything from where I live to my employment to my diet and it’s hard to be happy with this version of my body that seems to fight against what I love to do. It’s not easy, but learning to give myself the understanding I find so much easier to share with others and learning to love and accept this version of my body is so so crucial to my mental health and well being. It’s a rocky road, but you’ve got this! Good luck finding the path that works for you!

What bothers me is that she said "this is my final workout". The ultimate goal shouldn't be to finish working out and be done with it once you meet your temporary goal; rather it should be to become self-sustaining to keep up physical exercise - both resistance training and cardiovascular work - so that you keep improving your health and wellness and not slip back so far that you have to re-do everything you just worked for.

Can you do a workout for someone with asthma. It’s hard for people with that disease including me to do a lot of cardio so I really want to see how a professional can reduce the amount of cardio but still get a fat burning total body workout!
@roosb3662

I have asthma and have been slowly building up my workout routine with a trainer for the last six months. We did the cardio and strength workouts seperately. We've started the cardio workouts slow with interval training with speeds from 4,5 to around 6,5 km/h. These cardio workouts were two times a week for about 45 minutes and after three months of building the speeds up I was able to run 10 km in an hour. My lung strength has improved a lot and I don't have to use my inhaler as often. Of course it wasn't easy and a trainer can be expensive but I hope it helps to know that it is possible to workout with asthma :)

I don’t have asthma but reduced lung capacity because of secondhand smoking ever since I was a child. For me it really helped to go on walks on my own and slowly build up my stamina over time. I still can’t go on runs but I can go on pretty quick long walks. Going on my own helped me to be able to slow down If I need to or even take a break if you need to.

Honestly, look up LISS. It has the same benefits as higher intensity cardio workouts for fat burning and cardiovascular health. The only downside to it is it's more time consuming. That's why with something like HIIT you might only do it for 15 minutes. LISS might be 30 minutes to an hour depending on your goal. Circuit training is also good for your cardiovascular since you're doing a series of exercises in a short amount of time--you'd be surprised how high you could get your heart rate up using just weights.

hypothyroidism is not an autoimmune disease-Hashimoto's is. hypothyroidism can happen from many things; pregnancy, an illness, weight gain, environmental factors. Hashis is when your autoimmune systems attacks your thyroid. both require a strict diet and low impact exercise regime for most patients. if you are on medication, DO NOT STOP it without consulting your doc. usually once you're on meds you are on them for life, as they are supplementing what your body no longer makes. hypo and Hashis left untreated results in organ damage, damage to your muscular, respiratory and cardiovascular systems, brain fog, weight gain, depression, psychosis, extreme fatigue, and ends in heart attacks, strokes, or a coma. there's not much ever talked about what is a pretty common issue for many women (and some men) with hypo, and doctors often diagnose patients with depression instead of checking their thyroid. just a little PSA, as someone with Hashis who's had to fight her whole life for treatment and understanding. i think it's important to bring awareness, especially with March being National Autoimmune Disease Awareness Month.

@@MT-zm1yb it can be hereditary, or brought about by things like stress, pregnancy, a virus (most notably EBV), many factors. oftentimes patients become severely depressed, undergo rapid weight gain, and have symptoms like shortness of breath, muscle and joint pain, and extreme fatigue. it's one reason I chose not to have children once I was diagnosed. end the crappy gene pool with me, I would never wish to pass this on to anyone else.

Hi Michelle! I know you do a lot of these body makeover videos and they’re all so so great! I would, however, think it’d be super cool to include how exercise has enhanced the person’s mental health; if so, of course. Maybe doing a before and after of their mental health, along with the before and after of the physical body, would be cool too!

I was wondering the same thing. Her boobs seemed completely normal, just on the small side like mine are. I think that Michelle should have either thrown in a clip of a more detailed explanation, or if it wasn't a deformity and just small breasts lacking in muscle or tissue, to be honest and upfront that it's normal for women to have implants because they don't like their small breast size.
@TheClosetedFreak
@TheClosetedFreak 4 жыл бұрын
So I found Natalie's original video where she explained her condition, and she said she had tuberous breasts (wiki it if you want, it's basically tube-like, saggy breasts). For that sort of deformity, there's no medical reason whatsoever to get implants. She could have undergone cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin/tissue, but the implants were just a plus.

@Ruccateeth

@@TheClosetedFreak so i have tuberous breasts and had a corrective surgery lasat year, and i wanted to correct a few things you said. The operation cant really get done without the implants. Basically, this kind of breast hasa a ring of hard tissue around the nipple, which inhibits the breast ffrom growing normally, so it grows herniating the nipple outside. In the surgery, they open up those hard tissues, but the breast cant aquire a "normal" shape without implants. I got very small ones, just enough to fill that new shape. I can still wear my old bras. I hope this helped!

Sarah Stroud Make sure you get either a total capsulectomy or an “enbloc” explant, depending on how much scar tissue you’ve developed. I had BII but rather thin scar tissue so I had to do a capsulectomy.. But regardless, ensure they remove ALL OF THE SCAR TISSUE! Seriously! You might as well not have them removed at all if they don’t remove the scar tissue. Please remember this for the future! I hope you never have any symptoms in the meantime :) Good luck!

When Natalie said she was so tired in the morning workouts, I felt that. I've had hypothyroidism for the past 8 years, and I've noticed a HUGE difference in my performance and energy when I exercise in the morning vs. the evening. I'm so dead in the morning, and I wonder if it's possibly due to me taking my medication one hour before breakfast every day. Has anyone experienced this, too?

Yes, I do better in the evening for workouts and after I've eaten. AMs are so rough. Especially waiting for meds to kick in. I try to do my medication the night before so I can eat right away in the morning if I'm trying to workout around noon/1.
