Great video! I noticed you didn’t use temperature sensors on the return and supply for the heating system, like you have done on other systems. Is there a particular reason?

The supply and return sensors are used for the variable speed delta T circulator. This system uses a fixed speed circulator.

Jim, looks great. What is the total weight of the system mounted on the plywood? Two people can 'easily' mount it?
@JimSperanza9 ай бұрын
About 150 lbs. Yes easily can mount it with two people. Best way is to use a temporary 2x4 ledger board to rest the bottom of the system on until the plywood is lagged to the wall studs. Then the bottom 2x4 can be removed.

Just curious why did you cap the top of each vertical run?
@JimSperanza4 ай бұрын
@BeeBombard allows for future zones to be added. Some customers want that option.

when usig hot water, does it stop heating - Is there any boiler which heats up both at the same time, hot water and baseboard heating

@guess313 all combis work this way
@Djbigb80923 ай бұрын
So I just set up my combi system exactly like this. When I look in the book, it only shows 2 wires needing to be connected to the sentry zone valve(common and normally open). My sentry zone valve states it’s normally closed. It looks like you have more than 2 wires connected to the valve. What else should be connected?
@Djbigb80923 ай бұрын
I only have 2 zones by the way and both stats are only 2 wire setups
@JimSperanza3 ай бұрын
@Djbigb8092 you only need two wires when connecting to the navien.
@Djbigb80923 ай бұрын
@@JimSperanza that’s what I thought. Looks like you have more than 3 connected which I started to wonder. In the book, it states sentry should connect to normally open, my valves are actually normally closed so I’m assuming that I use 2 wire and just do common/nc, correct?
