Such a tragedy. The young man wasn't a typical college football player, either. Worked full-time at a grocery store and was literally a walk-on in college football. He would have been an inspiration to other young men who were overlooked for a sports scholarship. At least he signed his contract in May, so the money will help his family. @seseLsan , Sorry, as journalists, your first duty is to objectively inform your audience -- not to eulogize those involved. Save that for funeral coverage. . . . You see, NO car is going to come apart like that had it been traveling at normal highway speeds. Cars are designed to protect their passengers at normal highway speeds. Your reporting suggests that the accident was caused by someone changing lanes. (Yeah, she was probably changing lanes because she saw a car coming up from behind her at a high rate of speed.) No, that accident, without a doubt, was caused by excessive speed. For all passengers to perish and for the car to be so demolished clearly indicates that that car was moving at speeds above 100 mph. Dodge Chargers can easily travel at 140 mph, and, depending on the model, can travel around 200 mph. They have been known to outrun police cruisers. . . . Your reporting is a lie of omission. The audience should ask themselves why this is.

Would it hurt you to say WHO was maybe affected by alcohol? Was it the three boys or someone from the other two cars? Why even mention it if you're not going to give COMPLETE details! This was a SUGGESTION, the same as an OPIONION and has NO PLACE in a news report!

Stop your lies .If the lady was going at a high rate of speed her car would be damaged a lot more than that.
@lwills86093 ай бұрын
She ran him off the road which led him into the trees. Her damage would not be that bad. It was a side swipe and because of that, he lost control.

Not really. I was pitted by a CRV on I95. I was going about 75mph she clipped the rear of my RAV4 and sent me rolling. Witnesses say 4-6 full rolls. Her CRV looked like it had hit a parking bollard; just one deep dent and her driver’s side headlight were crushed. Car was still drivable. Her estimate speed was around 90mph. Thankfully I only had a broken collarbone and bruising.

she would actually be just fine--- force is transfers from which ever is moving fast/holds more force to whatever is moving slower/less force. The difference in speed/force is the impact she delivers with less damage done to her(the sender).....being run off the road into trees doesnt help either. Look up physics of car crashes can be sad but enlightening......

Well... we all know we can identify patterns and for the most part have an educated guess about what happened. Media will never say what we all know. Let's do the math: A Dodge Charger (we know what kind of people drive those) + 3 AM in the morning + the car ending very far away from the road + it ends up absolutely destroyed -> alcohol, crazy speed and lack of respect for human lives. Luckily no innocent people were injured.
@Landis_Grant3 ай бұрын
Why do the media protect Black athletes who drink and drive at excessive speeds?
@georgehill30873 ай бұрын
People on twitter found that they know each other and were at a bowling alley together just before the crash. Since that Charger was split in half, I'd say it's safe to assume they were racing. The Charger was probably slightly ahead, the Impala was in the way of the Infiniti, so she had to change lane but accidentally PIT the Charger.

May not necessarily be media conspiracy here but maybe a little physics?-- force is transfers from which ever is moving fast/holds more force to whatever is moving slower/less force. @@The8Donhow do you know? The only ones to tell the story are the ones who lived and THEY are the ones who blamed the girl in the Infinity. Don't you think they would have told the cops it was the fault of the driver of the Charger if it WAS the driver of the Charger who caused it? They could have even said she was racing them and the Charger went out of control hitting HER car and the other one.

@@BobbyJ529Well first of all the media's reporting that the silver car was trying to change lanes at a high rate of speed there's no way they know this way too early in the investigation for them to know any details.. I know 3:15 in the morning there's a high probability that these were not just coming back from a church meeting.. This happens all the time even in the NFL all these people with all this talent have very little in their brain housing groups.. I don't know no more than anyone else I'm just saying The situation does not paint a pretty picture for them just to be someone who got hit by a speeding car and they are innocent.. some people just can't get away from their old life..
@normaforsyth79503 ай бұрын
@@KIMjB72that doesn't make any sense though. Why would the Infinity driver take on probable vehicular homicide charges if the other cars were also racing? It would let her off the hook if she said all of them were speeding or racing because then it would have been the choice of each driver and she wouldn't be charged with anything but DUI and speeding.
