Took my mom to a Neil Diamond concert about 20 years ago. I was really quite surprised how good it was. I'm a hardcore Rush fan and heavy metal fan.

I bought tickets for my dad to go see Neil 20 years ago. I asked what he thought. He said, Thought he'd be taller. We use to put in Hot August Night and sing along on road trips back in the 70s. Awesome...

Of course you know Neil Diamond. He wrote Sweet Caroline, I'm a Believer, Red Red Wine and hundreds of other great songs. A musical legend and charismatic performer, who sold more than 130 million albums, sold out huge arenas and stadiums around the world, breaking attendance records wherever he performed, and received numerous awards. And yes, his concerts were a party 🎉

His concerts were a party. Couldnt have said it better myself. When i was a boy we had many a backyard bbq where we cranked up the Hot August Night album and EVERYBODY sang and danced along

Just because you have a favorite artist doesn't mean they're the only ones you listen to

NEIL DIAMOND transcends all age groups. I won $300 at a Karaoke competition, singing Cracklin' Rosie, many moons ago. In August 1972, Neil and his Band recorded HOT AUGUST NIGHT at The Greek Theatre. It was a Double album that stayed at No.1 in Australia for month after month after month, nothing could budge it. It was in the Top 40 albums chart for a couple of years. Who doesn't like or even love the great NEIL DIAMOND. " I'm a Believer " a massive Hit song for THE MONKEES, was written by Neil Diamond. ' A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You " Hit song for THE MONKEES, was written by Neil Diamond. He starred in the Movie " THE JAZZ SINGER " It's worth a look. I'm into a lot of different types of music, everybody should be. From MOZART to THE SEX PISTOLS. NEIL DIAMOND IS BLOODY AWESOME.

Cracklin' Rosie was a cheap wine that they used to sell in the 60's. With that in mind, listen to the song again.

He is much older in this live perfomance, and as is the case with most singers, Niel can't hit those high notes like he could over 50 years ago when he recorded this song. If you can, listen to the original studio recording of any of his songs from the 60s or 70s, because he is one of a kind, and I'm a "Hard/Classic Rock" guy. What a voice he had in his prime.

Cracklin’ Rosie is a bottle of wine - the “store-bought woman” that you have when you can’t get a girl for the evening…

You picked a video where he is old and sounds like crap. Listen to one where he is young and still had a voice.
