I am just an old guy, but I consider myself (in my old age) a hopeless romantic. When I see you guys react to a song, or an artist, that I have felt was romantic or nostalgic, it warms my heart. It's like your reactions give validation to me for things I have held in my heart since first hearing them. I really appreciate you both for what you do to bring out some of the things in music that many don't (or won't) recognize or appreciate. Thank you so much 💙

Lovely song…. Neil even admitted later that he “unconsciously” lifted the opening guitar riff from The Everly Bros’s song WALK RIGHT BACK. Both gorgeous!❤

Actually Neil Young is a Canadian from just north of Toronto, Ontario. He spent a number of years living in Winnipeg, Manitoba and developed a love of the Prairies and Great Plains there. Neil started as a folk song singer/songwriter, then moved on to rock and country rock in the 1960s and finally joined Crosby, Stills Nash and Young--one of the absolutely giant groups of the 1960s and 70s. He also pursued a solo career and that is where he really made his mark, especially in the country-folk genre. His best albums are in that category, IMHO, like 1972's "Harvest," 1978's "Comes a Time," and this one "Harvest Moon" from the 1990s. Neil is a prairie boy at heart, I think, and he loves the West of North America and owns a ranch in California. His sound is pretty unique and he calls his band "Crazy Horse" after the great Lakota war chief who fought against Custer and the 7th Cavalry, along with Sitting Bull and many thousands of Lakota and Cheyenne, at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in June 1876. 🤠😉😎💖

Great song! Neil is a very talented musician, singer & songwriter. He was with the groups Buffalo Springfield & Crosby, Stills & Nash in the later 60's. Also had his own group with Crazy Horse for a few years. Neil went solo & has had so many great songs over the years.

Neil was born in Toronto and grew up in my home town of Winnipeg, Manitoba , Canada, our little city has produced some good music over the years….” The Guess Who “( American Woman ) and BTO ( Takin Care of Business and You Ain’t Seen Nothin Yet ) to name a few.

This is like a musical hug, nostalgic, gentle and warm. I'm only disappointed that you didn't dance with each other! The guitar at the beginning reminds me of the Everly Brothers song 'Walk right back', another beautiful chilled out song with amazing harmonies.

This is such a sweet song and his beautiful voice is perfect for the message it delivers. Neil Young is such a talented singer/songwriter/lyricist/composer/vocalist!! He does it all so beautifully. The studio version features Linda Ronstadt on backing vocals. Thanks for choosing this. 🌺✌️

Hello, Andre and Dominica: Such a beautiful song. It was interesting to hear you say that it is so American and I thought that after listening to three of Neil's videos you would know. I don't usually react like this but as I watched this video, I got feeling so proud to be Canadian and that I grew up in the 60s and 70s with all the musical talent that we have here. Your reaction was very moving and I am so glad you liked it.

I wanted this song as our first dance on our wedding day. My wife, to be, wanted Whitney's I Will Always Love You. So, we compromised and had Whitney's I Will Always Love You. Red flags look pink when you're in love, and it turned out not to be the case anyway 😂.
