+R TYPE 90 No doubt. I remember when I was a kid, making my periodic adventure to the video rental store, looking at Tecmo World Wrestling and passing over it because it didn't have the WWF characters. One day, I finally said let's just play it and I think that was the first all-nighter my friends and I pulled lol. Wherever the name Tecmo is found, there is greatness.
@mattsmoo53788 жыл бұрын
+R TYPE 90 They never disappeared after the 16 bit era. Tecmo came out with Tecmo Bowl Kickoff on the DS in 2008, Tecmo Bowl Throwback on the Xbox 360 and PS3, Ninja Gaiden Black on the original Xbox and PS2, and the Dead or Alive series on several consoles.
@kabutops878 жыл бұрын
What i meant was they disappeared in the 16 bit generation, they made no games on the Super Nintendo, Ninja Gaiden ect. also they did nothing on the Megadrive either. no ports, nothing. After the Playstation came out tho they suddenly reappeared and made games on home consoles again.
@Bloodreign18 жыл бұрын
They mostly stuck to sports games (SNES and Genesis), and redoing the trilogy of Ninja Gaiden games on SNES, though the less said about the latter the better as the ports weren't really enhanced, and the music sounded not so good.

Honestly, not having text based games anymore is a real shame. Its much easier to have deeper and more involved text than it is the current spoken audio. Your never going to get the depth of spoken dialogue that you can with text. Text is just so much easier to do and takes so much less space

LOLZ! I used to do that same trick when the computer irish-whipped you to the ropes, just let him pass by, and immediately follow with a clothesline! xD Strangely, in this game you couldn't make the CPU opponent submit (the CPU still could make you submit) but in the japanese version (Gekitou Pro Wrestling!! Toukon Densetsu) you could. Funny how, around the 1990's many games for the NES had a final boss which would either be: a) Some sort of Doomsday Device (Jackal, Metal Gear, Snake´s Revenge, Laser Invasion, Mission: Impossible etc), or b) Some sort of monster/spirit/demon straight from hell.
