Fellow planeswalkers! After a suggestion by TheJaseku in the comment section, I discovered a way of making this process EVEN MORE SIMPLE and removing the part with the glue gun all together! Instead of glue, using a stapler and just "staple" together the parts where the glue used to be, works just as good and now takes even less resources. If you want me to do a tutorial on this new method (although I imagine most can probably figure out how its done lol) just answer this comment (or like it or whatever kids do these days) and I will deliver. Cheers!

This is amazing! Thanks for the tutorial, saved me a lot of money and I got idea on how to customise it! 👍 Also anyone who wants to use the side that was cut out to make it, you could do the save with you did earlier to measure with a sleeved card and turn that piece into a card divider, using even more of the carton!

Great poject and tutorial. I came up with an idea of cutting the side squares diagonally (making this squares a triangles). This way the sides dont stick out and i find it more elegant :P

I made my own with the same container. The hardest part of the build is cutting the right diameter hole for the spout. If it’s not wide enough, it won’t twist shut. And you can only mangle the cover so much before it looks awful. I’m working out the kinks, and trying to master this build! I’m a barista, so, I have unlimited resources! 😎

@Viktxr4 жыл бұрын
Well I guess spraypaint would work best, but haven't played around with that. The surface of most juice boxes are quite smooth and glossy, so you might have to rough up the surface if you're using any other hobbypaint you have lying around. Please report on the results if you paint it!
@MistressNeviah2 жыл бұрын
Scale modeling and minipainting hobbyist chiming in. If you haven't tried it yet or someone else is looking into it. I suggest 800 grit sandpaper and above. Should get that waterproof finish off there without damaging the paper itself.

Rather than sanding, I made a scored an X in the wax layers and peeled them off. Much faster and more consistent than sanding, and lets you get away with using a paper type glues such as tacky/modpodge.

Amazing idea....i'm thinking in doing some, with some thin foam inside for better protection. On quick question, does it hold EDH Decks? Thanks
@Viktxr3 жыл бұрын
It will hold 100 single sleeves cards, yes. But having room for DS card and some tokens and stuff probably wont work. However, if you managed to get hold of a larger milk box/juice carton (like 1,5 litres) it is possible to craft a much larger box, that is perfect for EDH when you want to have some tokens, extra sleeves and such
@tiagoestrada3 жыл бұрын
