VC is a manly confidence boosting scent to me. I’ve recently retired from the army and never really cared about fragrances and I’m a bit of a novice. I got this as a gift for Christmas and love it. I’m thinking of getting the original or silver mountain water next.

I love it. Original Viking I enjoy but it is much harder to find a time that feels right to wear it. The cologne is solid any daytime and it has that Viking vibe. I give it a thumbs up

For me, Aventus Cologne actually dethroned Aventus for it's better longevity and projection from my skin. High end summer fragrance..I agree probably for older men..basically is the summer version of the OG Viking. Great review, I had also this feeling of resemblance to Perry Ellis 360 red.

Is there a difference in the pink pepper note? I think the pepper is a bit unfit for the heat (pepper it’s supposed to heat you up) and for that reason I tend to use viking more as a spring evening fragrance, or at the most an AC indoor summer event . I was wonder if viking cologne would be less peppery than the original?

Excellent review I tried this on Monday just 2 sprays I like the way you used your word very carefully now to be honest Creed isn't what they used to be there's some issues in the creed house and that ok but I think they need new perfumers but I understand it's a family generation house but Creed are in major trouble Creed viking cologne Is a very simple cologne even the notes break down. Maybe dua would do they own version to somes everything up Creed needs go in another direction

The first Creed I bought was Virgin Island Water and I have the same issue. It becomes a skin scent after a few hours. Don't get me wrong, it smells amazing and my girlfriend loves it on me but for that price I wish it would have better performance

I think you should use words the average person could comprehend, like fresh, clean, powdery, flowerish, herbal, masculine, then u can throw common types of scents to compare. Or since its a creed cologne maybe say, ud most likely love this if u like GIT or aventus or this or that. U do an awesome review, but single scents are not prominent to me in fragrances, occasionally they stand out more in the form of being kinda fruity or kinda citrusy, but never has, this exact super rare root or this exact super uncommon seed from a country ive never heard of stand out on its own at any time. Its like cigars, they claim to have this or that upon lighting and this or that half way thru n this or that at the end. Its like gimmicky to me to almost condescending in a way. Like a cigar is nutty, chocolaty, or peppery, n super strong not as strong or kinda light n thats really it lol.

Bois du Portugal is my favorite Creed and in top 5 overall. Some people describe it as "old man in a barber chair" but if it is, that old man is Frank Sinatra, who's getting a $500 haircut, prepping for his date tonight with Sophia Loren at the most elegant 5-star restaurant imaginable.
