Hi Ben. My understanding is that by choosing an objective, we select a specific kind of people. So, for awareness or engagement, the maximum we can expect is that they will watch our video, but they will very, very rarely come over to our website to become leads or customers. Another thing is the cost. I checked an ordinary auction campaign with the same objective but a smaller budget, and the rough CPM estimate was almost the same (just not guaranteed). So, I think this kind of campaign is really for big businesses wanting to increase brand awareness. The sequenced delivery is the sole reason I would consider giving it a chance. But even for that, an intensive landing page view campaign followed by retargeting ads every other day for those who clicked through might work better. What do you think?

You can try selecting "Engaged Shoppers" in audience targeting option and then select must also like "target interest". Lets try and check the results.

Great video! For the omni present content strategy, you advice only to go with the highest value placements. Do you have an updated list of what those placements are, or is it identical to the ones preselected in this setup? I have watched almost every youtube video on how to get the best results from Facebook campaigns but each time I feel like I am finally getting a grip of how things work, something pops up and ads won't just perform and what you did a few works ago that worked, just doesn't work anymore. So, you go back to KZbin to watch more videos and you finally get a small result this time, then next time nothing works. It is stressful especially for small businesses that don't have the money to pay advertisers. I am losing faith in the whole thing.

Hello. I hope you can answer this question. I'm doing ads in a very small market (country). When doing Message ads how can I deliver to more new people? Message ads work best in undeveloped countries. It seems like when I create a new ad campaign for the same company. I always start out reaching a lot of the same people. Therefore the cost per message is much higher. In smaller countries meta's ai retargets on its own, so no need for me to reach the same people continuously. To me it seems the only way to reach more new people is to not replace the successful campaign/ad set, just replace the ad and keep running it. Is there another way?

What about traffic campaigns pointing to Amazon product page? (Horror novels in my case) Is this method more likely to outperform them compared to people running leads/sales? Yeah, I do that when I have no means of tracking conversions (Affiliate, Blogs, last minute or cheap clients etc), so I make sure the creatives do the pitching and the landing page does the converting .. I always go for single/carousel ads format or video ads. worked nicely.

Hi Ben & Co, I have an issue with "Reserve & Upload" section: I successfully completed the tutorial, reaching the "Reserve & Upload" section. However, I encountered an issue - the prompt instructs me to "Upload ads before choosing your delivery method," but there's no option to upload images/videos and text for the ad. Why is there no creative upload option at the end of this though!! Once you reach the end you reserve and upload there actually is nothing after that! The step in which you choose the creative isn't there at all! Then the campaign got published just like that with no creative chosen or uploaded, then there's no turn off option either for the campaign, I DO THINK THAT it's the actual reason Ben decided not to continue to reserve and upload at the end of the tutorial, it's because he knows this would happen and he doesn't know yet how to fix that!

This is i would do. I will run an engagement ad using a creative that targets my specific audience..i wont select interests or demographics, I will let meta do its job to target interested audience. I would encourage to try again with your ad creative, headlines and offers. It's easy to change it once and expect things to turn around. You might need to test 15 new options to find a winner. The rewards of finding a winner are enormous though.

I have tried to open such a campaign. That worked as far as it went, but I can't create an ad there. The button to create an ad is not active. Does anyone have the same problem?
