I like them. I put gemfans on the Tello. Speeds up faster and breaks on a shorter way. I also put 4 blade ones on my Neo. Less noisy and more agile.

You’re welcome. I’m not sure if these are low noise, since the AVATA 2 is pretty heavy, the props (no matter which brand) are always gonna have a noise to them.

Differences between DJI props and GEMFAN. GEMFAN only makes props for people who fly in ACRO and MANUAL modes, so the props are turned for speed/corning. You also get more flight time & a bit more speed.

Yup, the GEMFAN website kinda SUCKS. I usually get GEMFAN props from my local FPV Hobby Shop. Since these onese are new, they don't have them yet.

Steve i have a problem. My mavic mini 2. One motor has i don't know how got there . Got a hair caught in it. Tried to get it out but couldn't get it all. Motor still won't work. Can i fix it ? And how do i? Or buy a motor off of Amazon and replace it?. HELP LOL

That must be a lot of hair if the motor won’t spin. Normally if there is dirt blocking the magnets people use compressed air. With hair, other than trying to pull/pry it out, I have no idea (try sticky tape perhaps?)

The MAS props are all about efficiency & a bit more quiet. Since GEMFAN only makes props for people who fly in ACRO and MANUAL mode, their props are designed more for speed and agility.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Got it...I will start on a simulator soon to try and pick acro. I tried flying once just with the left stick loose, I was checking my landing spot and next thing I knew my drone had climbed to 353 FT! Gotta find that sweet spot. LOL

Landing gear that retracts requires a wing thick enough to fit the landing gear, so small wingspan planes don’t get retracts.

Steve thanks for making all the videos, as far as the noise, I would like to see/hear the DJI props at a certain distance and then put the other props on and let us hear them at the same distance. 😁 As far as Gemfan's web site, what a PITA 😡 a guy would think you could type in the model of drone and it would show all that worked.on that drone but NO!!! 😢 In case your wondering I'm curently playing with a DJI Spark but I want to get a set of HDZero goggles and a Mobula7 HDXero drone and a Jumper T15 remote for FPV for playing inside and out. 😁 I'm 61 and going through a second childhood. 😂 lol

Yup, the GEMFAN Website is not very good. I always buy GEMFAN props from my local hobby stores. These pros currently on show up on the GEMFAN website.

I bought some of these for my avata 2. The blades almost seemed too long. They scuffed all the inside of my prop guard.

@@krayz0_0 In my review I mentioned that they fit perfectly with very little space. If your props touch the prop guards of your AVATA it is because your AVATA plastic has changed shape slightly. That happened to me on one motor, but easily fixed.

SO your thoughts on these vs. MAS 4 blade Props? I like Master AirScrews product, and use them on a number of my DJI Drones. Not being FPV, but learning (Avata 2, Neo) Curious how these compare! They are certainly cheaper!

If someone has an FPV Drone and their Prop explodes it is simply because they screwed the nut (holding the prop) on too tight. This is a newbie mistake and all early adopters of the FPV hobby will experience this at one time or another.

For Manual Mode, since these props are by GEMFAN and GEMFAN only makes props for Pro Pilots flying in ACRO/MANUAL, I’d have to say these are best.

The big thing I got from this is they are dirt cheap, which in itself is a good reason to buy these over the dji props. Hey, you are not too old to wear caps like the one you got from the prop mfg. I will be officially older than dirt by the end of this year and I still wear them. To me you are just a kid🤣. Love the video 👍👍👨‍🦳

I buy all my GEMFAN Props from my local hobby stores. These props are new so my stores don’t have them yet. Your local hobby store may have them coming.

Steve, your audio level testing just isn't helpful. Can you please buy a cheap audio DB level tester so you can give accurate sound level to these drones and props? Thank you! love the channel.

@@drdann2251 Ha ha, I’m guessing you have not been told that those are just silly tests and mean nothing. I tried it in the last video with the MAS props on the AVATA and as expected people made fun of it. The reason it is silly is because it is pretty much useless when it comes to NOISE. You see, the human ear finds certain things ANNOYING, and what is ANNOYING to one person is not ANNOYING to another, so when I test props and do sound comparison tests, and the only difference (in every single case) is the pitch of the sound, most humans are simply tone deaf and just hear noise. So in the end, nothing but a waste of time in which people find silly, so I no longer bother.

Yup, you are not the first to complain. Not the best customer experience. I buy all my GEMFAN Props from local hobby stores, however since these are on PRE-ORDER, the GEMFAN website was the only link I could provide.

I agree... it is clunky. The good thing is that I never end up buying GEMFAN props from GEMFAN, I buy them from all the local Hobby Stores. But since these are a PRE-RELEASE, they are not yet in the Hobby Stores.
