Apologies this is composed via talk-to-text I have a build with Tommy's matchbook bad minimizes the self burn and maximizes be damaged that Tommy's does if my math is correct you can ramp the weapon up to 100% more damage and if I'm off it's only 90 percent more damage which four primary Auto rifle is terrifying if you want it simply reply to this comment

Apologies for the delay I'm at work I can get you the full list of everything in a couple of hours however if you're looking for the peripheral mods Elemental well stuff like that I can give you that but I can't give you the fragments and I'm running because I don't remember them right off hand

For the peripheral mods you'll need any Elemental wellmaker preferably melee wellmaker or Elemental ordinance both of these are more consistent and will remain after this current season yo then need Elemental charge supercharged stacks on stacks and high-energy fire

I never do the "grind just to grind" thing on catalysts. I generally just do the seasonal activity with the weapon. In this case, Nightmare Containment. Lots of enemies all packed together, catalyst went by quickly.

Yeah farming random red bars for catalysts is dumb, and fast track to minor burnout. Plenty of mobs and extra rewards for doing seasonals.

Actually it's always much quicker to just do the shuro chi encounter a couple of times. And I mean, MUCH quicker. Same goes for ranking up crafted weapons, 1 run of the encounter gives you roughly 40-50% of a level and it takes you 1-2 minutes tops. Plus, you can get ammo on demand as long as you have some raid banners.

Maybe Unstoppable or Barrier. Overload will just teleport whenever you try to hit it with the slow moving Jotunn projectile.

Jotunn has always been a surprisingly flexable exotic for Gambit specifically, as it hits hard enough to burn down yellow bars, blasts multiple red bars, and can one shot or nearly one shot invaders. Its boss damage is limited, but you can bring a sword or something for heavy DPS on the Primevil. I wouldn't recommend it over the busted Rocket Launchers for a dedicated invader, but it's been a go-to for me for general purpose Gambit play for technically years now. Seeing it have a chance to be useful in PvE again is really nice, although I only just finished my Catalyst grind on it so I haven't played around with it yet.

Lament needs a catalyst like this. Catalyst that gives it incandescent or makes it apply scorch stacks on hit (its a boss weapon anyways) but only when charged. That's what it needs.

Love Jotunn this season! Although, any play mode with barrier, unstoppable, and/or overload champions shuts it down quickly -it's useless in those scenarios. But great for anything else, especially the new Nightmare Containment public event.

I just use a Solar build that synergy with both Jotunn and Eriana’s Vow. Eriana’s with Ray of Precision and the right Fragments is just as lethal now. They can be used interchangeably on the right build.

@@frankmigliore9240 I forgot about Eriana's Vow! It's solar and has anti-barrier intrinsically, -good call! I was thinking of how Jotunn can't really be used in a legendary lost sector that you would do solo tho. You absolutely need an Overload or Unstoppable mod if you're going to solo that kind of stuff. That being said, I'm totally throwing on Eriana's Vow with an Unstoppable or Overload kinetic weapon when I run my next legendary lost sector!

So basically what I gathered from this is jotuun with the new caty is amazing and incredible on solar 3.0 Also Incandescent is very synergistic with solar 3.0 as well.

since the Jotun can inflict scorch and has a tracking shot to it. it's automatically a part of my Sol build as a warlock. it's great, I'm just not used to using a fusion rifle so the firing delay is new to me.

Never used them before this either and the delay threw me but when I got used to I think it's improved my game. Literally just back on after a big break from d2 and was going for dregden and jotun saved my ass on killing guardians in super let me tell you !

Dropped for me on a normal crucible match last week, such a fun weapon in solar 3.0. Always loved the Jotunn, amazing for ad clearing while pretty good at tanky enemies as well.

You can ignite titan barricades in pvp and kill them behind it 😆 I’ve done it too many times I feel bad at this point, tip: the first shot hits, turn and run 🏃‍♂️

Its ok but If you want add clear or Boss Damage you use Something Else. Witherhoard is much better in both, especially with the Fusion grenade warlock
