Cool to see some family involved. I watch your channel often, never knew you had a son... As a prepper myself, family life is so important. Too many "lone-wolf" type guys get the latest tacticool gear and forget to gear wife and son the same. "Good to gear up, don't forget your backup" ;-) Thanks Sootch for your videos!

I have this bag. It's well made and very comfortable to wear. However, the shape is odd, the top opening is smaller than the bottom. If you are used to a more traditional square opening, for a laptop etc. just be aware this bag is different. Also, I don't like the magnetic closures. I don't use the bag in a way that I would need such a set up.

Maxpedition packs have a history of zippers blowing out. And the company routinely REFUSES TO HONOR their so-called "lifetime warranty" when a zipper fails (check out the many negative reviews on amazon dot com for proof). They want you to pay $50 for a zipper replacement. Their packs are very durable, but what good is that when your zipper is blown? No offense to Sootch is intended. All Maxpedition packs are overpriced. There are many other companies that offer superior products for less money. For example, 5.11, Mystery Ranch, Blackhawk, Voddoo Tactical, Eberlestock, and Condor are a few of the better companies. I recommend the 5.11 Tactical RUSH72 Backpack which comes in 7 different colors (including grey if you are wanting the greyman look), has a 3342 cubic inch capacity, and costs only $138 on Amazon. Or the 5.11 RUSH24 pack, with a 2275 cubic inch capacity.

@zechnarwilliams80196 жыл бұрын
love your videos sir, i will check out that other channel.
@marlow7694 жыл бұрын
Notice that you have it ratchet up on the zipper to get it to move. That’s because the zipper pulls are mounted/treaded through the zipper pull attachment in a 90° orientation to the zipper path. This causes a torquing/twisting moment when pulling on the zipper pull causing it to bind. Disappointing!

I guess I'm just told old at 75 I just have never had the need to carry a back pack anywhere other than camping . Just like a water bottle . I grew up in the central valley of California where it gets has hot as hell and never carried water on a daily bases only when we would go hunting and be gone all day away from homes ,normally you need a drink you walk up to a house and turn the faucet on and get your drink no one ever said anything but hi how you doing .Today you do that some would probably shoot you . But today in the car is our gear just in case here I am more concerned with earth quakes that could just totally mess up the roads and free ways and were 30 miles from home so were ready for that.
@Osprey19946 жыл бұрын
With technology today a backpack is a must for extended periods of time away from home. Backpacks like this one are also nice because you can carry a larger pistol than you would IWB.

Sootch teaches about Bugging out / Survival tactics and piles of fancy /expencive gear and guns..but Drives a H3 = Super underpowered boat anchor that can't get out of its own way! LoL.. And they quit making them and parts years ago...You are aware they make these things called JEEPs, for 78+ years right ?.. The front and rear tow hooks on my jeep are not called "Hummer Hooks" for no reason! Lol my friend...

Honestly don't see much point in an truck unless you work in a professional that uses the full potential. I know you can hop curbs in an emergency, but I prefer a vehicle that can handle, has decent power, gets decent gas mileage, and doesn't draw unnecessary attention.

Thank you for your videos. I cannot tell you what to do but I wanted to mention it to you and as God's child. When you state that God Bless America and God bless his Republican God does not show favoritism I'm not sure if you're aware that Romans chapter 2 verse 11 he does not show favoritism so I really wish there was no Republican Democrat or independent that people could just vote and not be category or labeled. that way it will not create the division and divisiveness people will be unified and they can just vote for whoever they want to know when we start labeling people that is not what Jesus Christ has done I'm not for sure if you read the Old Testament in the New Testament you will see that guy does not like Prejudice and God definitely don't like divisive spirit. I am not saying that you have a divisive Spirit I'm just saying that when people start putting people in a category we need to be careful God wants all people to be loved as long as they even those who do not follow him he give them opportunity to change and repent. Thank you again God bless you
