My husband has a lots of camps and spinny things, each one has a different purpose he tells me, to me they just hold things and put holes in things, but it keeps him happy and parkside seems to be cheap enough.

good video, i love parkside tools, top tip, when clamped, to release easily, squeeze clamp and press the button at the same time, not as hard to press

It was your lathe video that started my watch, I ned to watch your older content but I want to say I love your down to earth 'man in a shed' presentation. I bought a 'Parkside' table saw this year and I admit there are some annoying things but for the price it has give me so much pleasure to do rebates for window frames with ease. I am looking a the new clamps at Lidi this weekend 4th Aug as I have already bought the ones in your video. Keep up the good work I'm looking forward to your next content

I just went down the middle isle this morning and saw clamps picked them up they are decent quality infact better than a few name brand bar clamps I’ve had in the past, not used them yet so can’t comment on the overall performance but they seem good, but mine has the 300mm jaws and 150mm jaw as a 4 pack, was shocked to see them for more than I paid with only 2 clamps in your video mate. Just subscribed aswell👍

Ooo theres a chop saw in there 😮 i must get that out😂😂 mate your a natural on camera, first come across you on the lathe video but had to turn off there were too many things wrong , i thought id leave that to others Im back on this one and yes it’s Lidl but we know it’s Lidl and its cheap but even a crap clamps do a job to a certain extent and if they brake 😊you reuse the parts and make some more. But what is good is your personally and you really do cover what is good and bad but have a laugh at the same time, keep it up its going very well. Ill bet misses is over the moon 😊 you cant get a better husband that looks after his wife like that. 😮 she’ll be telling all her mates about it 😂

Hi mate, don't know if you know but the fixed end can be taken off and then fitted the other way on the other end so instead of clamping together they force apart. Another thing "The Range" stocks Wilko stuff.

With the speed clamps, one end is removable and reversible enabling you to stretch things apart instead of squeezing them together

I think you only remove the fixed one I.e. red wing nut and place it on the other end of the bar on after the stop pin .. should be a hole. Now the sliding one spreads away from the fixed ones… great vid

Maybe those older clamps were made several years ago to a much better spec, but those new ones do look VERY flimsy, I'd rather spend a bit more at B&Q or Wickes for something more sturdy.

This is spooky. I went to Lidl the other day & bought those same clamps but mine came with a teeny weeny clamp as well as the 2 larger ones. Oh, & my wife did say " do you really need those?" Answer, "Yes of course I do", you can never have enough tools.🧰 Just been installing a ceiling fold down TV bracket in my garage to re-purpose an old dumb 40"LED TV. I can now watch TV while working in the garage.
