If the statement, "protein causes heart disease" is true, all of these people on long term carnivore foods should have one foot on a hospital bed and the other hovering over a grave. Yet all of these people consuming protein rich foods on a daily basis have publicly stated they've never been healthier. Please explain.

Nestle is a freaking evil disgrace. They make food bags for tube feeding in the hospital. My father was fed these while fighting Gullian Barre syndrome in the I.C.U. ( an auto immune disease that degrades the myelin nerve sheaths and can lead to death) . He was near death and the family was called in. The main ingrediants in the Nestle , so called " food" bags are gmo soy protien , casein, canola oil and High fructose corn syrup with very minimal minerals or vitamins. ( the barest minimum) Full of the very things you DONT want to eat with a life threatening autoimmune condition. The Drs were clueless. I offerred to pay for better food bags and even specialized amino acid I.V.s from a Naturopath but was pohh-poohed. " We dont do that here" they said. One even said that protien I.V.s do not work. Except the Drs are freaking WRONG... they have already cracked the code on I.V. nutrition in older people. They just need extra leucine to stimulate muscle synthesis and repair. My father needed animal fats and protien to repair his nerve shealths...choline and eggs and meat and whey protien. He needed extra vit C and mega vit D to tone down his immune system. NAC and other nutrients. Glucose rather than fructose. But they just poured more fuel on the inflammatory fire. Seed oils and high fructose corn syrup? Give me a break. Then they refused to use an existing canula and I.V. nutrition that I offered to pay for when he was admitted to the general ward. He was delirious and couldnt eat. They basically said " screw him ...he is stubborn"...but he wasnt stubborn...he was delerious and sick. He wasnt stubborn...the Drs were stubborn. And basically in violation of their Hipocratic oath. A simple I.V. bag of super nutrients would have done wonders for his recovery. Instead they let him waste away to nothing. It is a miracle he survived the hospital nutrition protocol. Afterwards they fed him pudding, bread , icecream and jello. He survived but was never the same afterwards. It didnt have to go that way. I also asked them to get beta hydroxy buterate into him and they looked at me like I had two heads. They didnt even know what a ketone body was. Seed oils cannot repair dsmaged myelin sheaths. I still am angry at the whole system for failing him. They are gaslighting everyone. Its a disgrace. My shame is that I did not fight harder for him. I should have threatened to sue the whole pack of them if they didnt give in to my demands. Such is the power of the system to dominate even people informed about nutrituon. I am angry at myself for letting arrogant Drs dictate my fathers slow decline.

It amazes me that people trust studies of any kind, knowing what we know about our institutions, schools, and systems in general in 2024. That's not to say anything about this topic, other than it's silly, nor is it that all studies are wrong, but most of them are. Never realign your life off of a new study unless it's obvious to your personnel experience. Given enough time, we are always wrong about everything.

Dr Westman makes compelling points regarding the flaws in the study linking protein to heart disease. The reliance on surrogate markers rather than actual disease outcomes is a critical issue. Numerous studies have shown that protein, particularly from whole food sources, does not increase the risk of heart disease. On the contrary, protein is essential for muscle maintenance and overall metabolic health. It's important to scrutinise scientific research carefully and avoid jumping to conclusions based on limited or misinterpreted data. Dr Westman’s critique underscores the need for rigorous evaluation in nutritional science.

More recently, the tabloids have been shouting from the rooftops about the link between red meat and diabetes. Upon closer examination, it turns out the language is much more vague, with statements along the lines of ‘may’ or ‘associated’ proceeding the claims. As we know, this could easily be replaced with may not, or not associated with.

If you need to do a glucose test because your doctor wants one the general consensus seems to be, eat carbs a few days beforehand to get your body primed for eating carbs again.
