Since coming to the Lord decades ago, I have attended seminaries, listened to many lectures, read many commentaries and so on. My reading of the Good Book was heavily influenced by these sources, and yet I can sincerely say -- having now looked through the videos on this channel, and other full preterist platforms, that I am reading God's precious word with entirely new eyes. And the Good News is even more clear, more profound than I knew it to be! For all my years of academia and theological interpretation, nothing compares to the scriptures, read as they were written. Nothing compares to the Spirit's direct revelation, through His word. Thank you Travis -- God is being honoured and glorified in the work you and your colleagues have been commissioned to do. All glory to God, whose mercy can never be fully comprehended, and to Jesus, who alone is worthy.

Amen and amen! I appreciate the kind words, especially coming from someone who I can only presume is my long lost cousin, Persian Drum. 😃

Spot on. I agree, and my experience resonates 100% with Josh's. Before embracing preterism, the bible was so full of disconnections. Now, by His good grace and mercy, I believe the clear truth of scripture has been revealed to me. I love Gods word more now than I ever have. Thanks Josh and thankyou Travis for your ministry. Dave. I have made the following challenge to futurists: I will prove that Christ and his Apostles taught that the second coming would be in the lifetime of their original audience. Can you ( the futurist) prove they taught that Christ’s second coming would be long after their lifetime. Several have accepted the challenge but they never respond once I give them time the statements from John the Baptist, Jesus, Paul, Peter, James, and John.

John was never named as the disciple that Jesus loved in the Bible, but the time texts and the audience relevance of these passages were well taken. Good job!

Big smile on my face. You(s ;-)) guys did such and encouraging and respectful presentation on this teaching. Travis, you facilitated so well and allowed Josh to get his thoughts out and contribute. Loved it. Very well done the both of you(s ;-)). Strength and prayers. Love br. David - Canada.

I recommend Scot Brandon’s acrostic OATH old, testament language, audience, relevance, time indicators, historical evidence. Also, you seem to suggest in the video that we who are alive and remain, will be caught up together with them, points to a 1st century rapture. I think it refers to a first century resurrection of the dead, followed by our individual resurrections to join them with the Lord done already.

We definitely reject the idea of a first century “rapture”. I agree with you.

Euphemism-a mild or indirect word or expression substituted for one considered to be too harsh or blunt when referring to something unpleasant or embarrassing. Thanks Josh 🤦🏼♂️😂

The man of lawlessness, either it was the Jewish leaders, or it was the Roman Empire, with the Emperor Nero and his armies. I would imagine it was the religious resistance fighters who fought for their temple (2 Thess 3-4). Blessing

David Curtis has a message on this explaining the he believes John Eleazar is actually Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus is repeatedly called the one whom Jesus loved, and John is never spoken of with that phrase . It makes more sense why they would be wondering about his death.

I’ve heard that message and really enjoyed it.

Travis I enjoyed your show today very informative but there was one thing that you said about the futuristic view that it's not a Salvation issue. But I believe that it is a Salvation issue because anyone that proclaims with their mouth that some Anti Christ is coming in the future to confirm the Covenant that Jesus Christ himself has already done this belief could be blaspheme. Matthew 12:36-37 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Jeremiah 23:28- The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord. 29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? 30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. 32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord." God bless 🙌 🙏

Psalms 145:13 and Luke 1:33 says that His kingdom will never end. Does this mean there isn’t a final coming and judgement? People will always be born and die to meet our creator and Lord for our just reward and so we shall always be with the Lord or everlasting death? Do we go to another realm or does Christ return to earth? I’m still learning this🤔.

Not only does Hebrews talk about a “soon” coming, the writer is also stressing the falling away from the faith just as 1st John is talking about the falling away and Antichrist’s. As we see the New Testament timeline running down we see the words of Jesus unfolding in the Olivet Discourse.
