I have to disagree with you on the hands Sir :) The syringe hands actually let you see the numbers rather than blocking them so it makes the watch easier to read at a glance for both the 12 and 24 hour markers as well as the 1-12 markers for the minutes (because the reality is knowing the closest 5 min marker is often all we need to know) I do agree however that having a bracelet option is nice.

I have the same problem with short hands, especially the seconds hands, used to have a Bambino and really loved its dial, but that short seconds hand truly bothered me, so I ended up selling it to a friend, and now he wears it on a daily basis, so it was a win-win.

I believe the movement is a 17 jewel Seagull movement (not exactly sure what the movement number is). This is a pretty solid movement for this price point.

If that’s the case, does it have a stop mechanism in order to prevent overwinding?

Definitely improvements, but like you said, the movement would be the main weakness. Can we even get these movements serviced or changed out if necessary? I’d love to see a Miyota movement in there & pay, what, maybe another $35?

I think the ideal is to buy the model with a screwed crown and solar quartz, which is much more resistant, because that Seagull ST16 movement is very basic and of low quality, I think.

Thanks. So really comes down to just the dial and hands changed? Not looking at band/bracelet or case style (color or polish etc) since it looks to be the same case.

It is not unknown that it is Seagull from the st16 series, very simple, it is usually used in skeletonized dials and it is a basic and economical movement, I don't know if it lasts, it seems to me that it is the cheapest that Seagull has

Definitely, for me, this watch is beautiful and I think the price is also good, however the fact that it comes with a Chinese caliber is inexcusable. I would have preferred it to cost a little more and come with a more reliable movement. A Seiko NH35 or a Miyota 821. In short, I wouldn't buy it. Thanks for the video.

Should've made this in a stainless steel. That coating is going to wear off and make it look busted in a couple months.
