It worked for Eminem, last month. The fact that it's a great album, combined with the fact that no one was expecting it, made it sell even more albums. We Tool fans would go apeshit, upon hearing that Tool just released an album without telling us. Amazon and Itunes sales would be legendary. I'm buying the physical disc though. It'll be the first one I've bought in about 13 years.

When it comes to someone like Maynard, after all the interviews and the way he makes his music....I have no doubt that a new album will completely raise the bar for other bands to an astronomical hight at which only Tool could reach to begin with! The entire band is compromised of musical,lyrical and artistic geniuses! I'm just thank full to be alive in a time where I could enjoy what Maynard has created!

When I see reel to reels,goat heads,and stacks of heads,amps and so on...this tells me...Tool uses tape bc they are smart! Analog and Tape over digital anyday!
