@luisito19821982 i know about take 6 but didn't know about their grammys. I just checked their wikipedia and it shows 8. The reason I said ptx was the only a cappella group with grammys was worded wrong. They're the only group with grammys for the genre of a capella music. The category for instrumental arrangements was changed to instrumental or a cappella in 2015 so they'd have a place to nominate ptx for their daft punk medley which they won. There was no a cappella category before they created it for ptx's nomination. Ptx also won it the next year. Their third grammy however is not for a cappella but best country duo or group performance. I still think a cappella should be its own category entirely. Makes no sense to put music with no instruments against music with only instruments.

Their music has continued to lift me up throughout the years and one of their songs was played as i walked down the aisle at my wedding. They never fail to bring a smile to my face and joy to my heart from the first note. I was finally able to attend one of their Christmas concerts this year, and I can't define in words what an experience it was. Gorgeous voices, and even better hearts. This group is a class act.
