I also thought twilight was so romantic as a teenager until I got older and was hit with the whiplash of reality. Obviously most people will draw the line between fantasy and reality but some won't and those are the ones I worry about ending up in a tough situation like I did. Plus, it's worse if gullible men read those books and think that's what women want in real life cuz they don't realize it's a fantasy. Confesses to me on the first day. I say no. He starts crying. LOUDLY. In the middle of the cafeteria. In front of my professors. His grandmother, my chemistry teacher, mentioned in the middle of the class that I made her grandson cry. Feeling pressured, I befriended him, but established firm boundaries that I don’t want to date him. Cue him stalking me all the way to my house, sending me love letters, telling me he wants to have babies with me (what), writing poetry about my breasts (what), telling guys we did it (what). I’m glad I have zero contact with everyone in highschool. Last thing I heard, he had tried to make out with some girl at a party. Said girl had a bf. They have a specific type (which isn't bad) but when they keep getting rejected by these women for not having the same interests (ie anime) or ideologies (not sleeping together on the first 3 dates) or various other reasons, they start with this "women just don’t like nice guys" bit, ignoring women who share their interests and ideologies because they're not "hot' enough. They don't seek to fulfill their lustful urges. And are very sweet and funny people overall. Not to mention, They don't seek female validation, They are actually just like that. This is coming from a woman btw, I have seen both in my life. Edit: I forgot to add, a real nice guy never tells people they are a nice guy. @@fbiagentfrank in my case what happens is a lot like what Cooper and the guy from the video were talking about where the touching wasn’t alarming enough for me to freak out but odd enough for me to be a little annoyed or slightly uncomfortable 😭 So I would ignore it out of fear that if I were to say something I would be “doing too much.” So somehow in my head I end up being the crazy one until I saw this and realized what was actually happening…
@Theamiah33 ай бұрын
@@fbiagentfrank for example this one guy went from his hand on my back to tapping my sides while he was talking until I was being pulled into him and only then I started creating space. Another kept slowly pulling me further in. The crazy part is both would comment on how stiff I was but would not take it as indication to stop touching me just to keep trying to warm me up to it until I inevitably got too uncomfortable to stick around 😭 but even then my exit would always be a polite excuse…

I love on the side of the guy in the first video, he has a "schedule" for a dozen different women's names. As if anyone would believe he's actually that good of a player.
@kelliepatrick5192 ай бұрын
They're not 'players', they're liars. They will say and do anything to convince the woman to have sex with them, especially pretend they're interested in a relationship. Generally speaking, women date to find someone that would make a good husband. Men date to get sex. it's time all us ladies accepted that the majority of men are not marriage material, and most don't want to be.

Indoctrinated definition of a "man" got him probably to a point of confusion in his own sexuality and therefore a lack of empathy for women (who he "should" love because he is a "man"). But just my two cents of armchair psychology here (not to be taken too seriously;)).

My ESL boyfriend will occasionally say “I’m a nice guy” during an argument and I understand, he doesn’t know the culture, he is struggling to find words to express himself, but a little tiny part of my brain dies every time 😂😂😂 love the guy, we’re doing great, but please please stop saying that.

I dated a guy from a European yelling culture who would yell when he was angry but then he would argue that he had trouble with voice modulation...No, Dude...it's emotional dysregulation. Your ears and vocal cords are FINE. You're yelling because your parents were always yelling. If you didn't talk in a normal tone of voice, I would not be dating you.... But even though he spoke 5 languages fluently his communication skills were terrible so he had to bet let go of.

Girl this shit sounds the same in every language. English isn't even my second language, more like my third and in every language I speak it's the same. People who say "I'm nice" are a red flag. I wish you luck and happiness, but just stay careful

@@hashtagmate It definitely is something I’ve had to deeply analyze. I believe that it is more a manifestation of a sort of childishness of emotion which I’ve observed. Thankful all of his virtues are so great, and I am good enough at conversation to get past it, and I think it’s a good fit :P but thank you for your concern. At the end of the day, no one is perfect and we must choose which aspects we want to put up with.

Women want men who are confident, dependable, loyal, considerate, good morals, etc. They want a safe person, who will protect and provide. Most of these “nice” guys lack these traits and are actually really toxic when things don’t go their way. It’s really immature and lacks mental stability which we want to stay far away from.

Ok but I feel like men who are actually able to get with women (who actually want to be with them; whether it is only for sex or for a relationship) are also the men who are comfortable with listening to women's advices and actively ask for them. Like, why would you listen to a man tell you what a woman wants instead of getting the information from the source... Also, understanding that every woman is different is very important yet always ignored by these ''how to get laid'' influencers. - One of MANY women who wouldn't sleep with that white board guy
