I tried this because I’ve been extremely ill for 15 years because of breast implants, but didn’t know why I was getting so ill and why I had to have operations to take out my failing organs. I thought I was tapping to get rid of my chronic pain, but I started to cry deeply because I had been lied to by the plastic surgeons and tons of doctors never said anything. I cried for the losses of my family, friends, many relationships, and my career. I still feel alone, but now I know what is really bothering me, and maybe I can heal. 🙏❤️

for people asking if EFT works on specific physical issues, I would like to suggest that instead of using EFT on that, perhaps use EFT on the fear, anxiety, worry, loneliness or any other emotional issues that having that physical issue has ignited in you. If you can switch off that fight or flight response you will find it much easier to heal. I have ME and am working hard using EFT and other tools to try and calm down the tension I feel around fatigue when I can't do something and desperately run on adrenaline to get through it (of course very unhelpful.) Noticing each time you begin to panic or become depressed about the physical issue and using EFT to work on that will probably be much more beneficial. Just my opinion but hope this helps anybody!

It may seem like an unconventional version of medicine that isn’t backed up by science, but actually there is something to it. Doing his exercises activates the amygdala which controls emotions and memories of pain.Many chronic pain and anxiety disorders are caused by constantly being in a state of fight or flight. There are many ways to get out of this state, including meditation. This is also one of them.

It would seem to me that now as a society our educators should be opening up levels of education to include “self maintenance” programs such as this! Our educators don’t teach active communication, active listening, or any other social interactive self development skills in our grade schools or middle schools. We are all taught by our Parents. They’re doing the best they can with what they’ve got. Tapping helps remove all the negative lessons we’ve learned and developed into our reality. Spread the word. This actually works!!
@Tinyteacher11115 жыл бұрын
Wayne Donecz I totally agree! As a former English teacher in a high school, I taught my students to meditate because they were so stressed about life and “getting into a good college”, even at an early age! I knew the consequences of what their stress could lead to. We did it on Fridays during the last 20 minutes. However, the some of other teachers and the administration frowned on this. I didn’t stop, and to this day, 5 years after I retired, I still have former students tell me that they still do it to relieve their stress. ❤️

Sounds to me like it'd PTSD and causes you to worry about your concussion. I would say it's damn near impossible for a haircut to trigger concussion symptoms again otherwise people that have had strokes would restroke again after moving their head too quickly. The idea and worry about the concussion seems to be doing more harm than the actual concussion itself.

Um, strokes have several possible causes, but overthinking is generally not one of them. A stroke is either caused from too much blood getting into the brain, or a blockage of blood, both of which can kill brain cells. Thoughts themselves can indeed cause stress (or peace/joy etc) and excessive stress can raise blood pressure which can increase change of blood vessels rupturing. No tapping will not reverse a stroke. I think it is important to be truthful here, and to not spread incorrect information. Can managing chronic stress help ward off potential strokes? absolutely! Lowering the stress in our lives is very beneficial in helping to prevent lots of disease, like our hearts, and the rest of our organs. They all get flushed with stress hormones when we are under excessive stress. But no tapping is not a cure that will reverse the effects of a stroke as magically as Karthik insinuates above.

Can anyone please tell me where tapping originates from. Is it an ancient form of meditating to reach ones higher conscious self? I noticed in the video on the stage there was a statue of Buddha and mention of yoga? Just wanted to know if someone can please help me understand this as I am not into eastern meditation or rituals.
@pcatMe10 жыл бұрын
I suspect the statues are window dressing to set a mood as he had a Hindu statue in a different video. Some websites claim so but I think it most likely was inspired or evolved from Reiki and Qigong healing methods where they slap the person when healing. Not certain why people always think that "ancient" makes anything more reliable or effective, lo, as they did some pretty weird things that didn't work but that' all they had. It seems to be part of the new revolution in healing that's doesn't accept the Western medical profession's concept that pharmaceuticles are the only way to fix a problem and that and it's also been fueled by discoveries in physics about energy etc. that support concepts in older philosophies and healing wisdom.

The tapping solution has not been scientifically proven nor have the claims that it works been given a thorough peer review. This a fad just like _The Secret_. If the tapping solution actually worked and so effective, millions of people would flock to it and it would make headline news tantamount to the cure for cancer. What the tapping solution should be called is _tapping into your credulity hence your wallet_ It's all about taking your money and those personalities like Oprah Winfrey who advocate it are in on the scheme. It is a big marketing propaganda scheme designed specifically to dupe you into believing it works when it reality it's a scam. I'd like to see them give a list of all these people who took on the TS before and after. Better yet, I'd like to see Randi get a hold of this scam. Rest assured he will reveal the truth just like he did on the homeopathic industry. www.ted.com/talks/james_randi What he has to say will surprise you and if you have any regard for truth, then watch his video.

@GnosisMan5010 жыл бұрын
pepperthepep I had a lively chat with Stefan Gonick, a EFT practitioner, on the EFT therapy and suffice it to say that while many people claim it works, no one knows HOW it works and Stefan agrees with that. While I've always been and continue to be very skeptical of alternatives cures, EFT may be on to something but those doing research on it have not yet provided us with the kind of scientific findings that would finally put an end to the critics of EFT- and I'm one of them. I say this because I'm hoping EFT will discover a new level of healing, the kind of healing that will put scientism dead on it tracks by finally admitting they are not "all that". If this should ever come to pass, it would give EFT more legitimacy, it would bring down the cost of health care and heal so many people. Until then, I'd rather not spend my money, time, and effort on EFT or any other alternatives that claim to have a cure for this or that. The human mind can be too credulous and the very person who is affected by it is the one we least expect: the one we see in the mirror.
@tintrach10 жыл бұрын
GnosisMan50 how will what you claim you want to see, ever come to pass, if people such as yourself never jump on the bandwagon, practice the technique to the self directed wanted result, hence becoming proof?! Your argument really makes no sense to me, and simply waiting for 'proof', 'scientific' or other, before 'believing' the merits of EFT,,,,,,is just more of the same crap that has been spoon fed societies ad infinitum. Prove it to yourself, step out of the sheeple corral, and be counted as an individual who will in turn transition to one of the collective! It can't happen any other way people.

For my Audible trial, I bought the Tapping Solution audiobook (which was very expensive compared to most audiobooks I looked at) and I tried it...put a good 20 minutes or so into tapping for my back pain fully expecting it to work. It did not work and I do not understand how this works for anyone. WTF?
@stevenopolis31558 жыл бұрын
Atacama Humanoid hi, it's very possible that it will take some time and practice to effectively remove the issue. Consider for a moment you have built up all of this stress and tension in your body over years and years, rooting deeper and deeper in your body. Let's compare this to constructing a physical building. You can take down this building with a wrecking ball and a bulldozer in a short period of time. But not until you better understand how to use the equipment. It will take time for you to learn how to demolish what you have created over time. Until you better understand it, you will be dismantling your structure with a hammer. Spend more time learning about it and your body and you will have access to the bulldozer. It gets easier. Start with something simpler like frustration with a coworker or anxiety you may have about a small issue in your life. Then move to bigger things.
@ElementsBJJCanada8 жыл бұрын
Hey Atacama, This is a serious suggestion. Try tapping about anger. I have similar back pain issues that I believe are caused by anger. I think it is working when you feel a strange pulsing throughout your body/mind. I'm curious if you get this feeling too. Doug
@AtacamaHumanoid8 жыл бұрын
Doug Spence Nope, found out my back pain is caused by too much sitting and centers around the psoas and iliopsoas muscles. This causes lower back pain and, when it pinches the sciatic nerve, can cause pain running through the butt and down the legs, too. The solution for this is to strengthen and stretch those muscles so the spine is properly aligned and the nerve is not pinched. Our modern reality of sitting all day behind a damn desk is not natural at all.

The most successful of these TFT derivatives was developed by Gary Craig. Craig (1997), who has a degree in engineering and formerly studied under Callahan, created what he calls Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). EFT is very similar to TFT, except that it employs one simplified and ubiquitous tapping procedure instead of applying different algorithms to treat different problems. This people is making rich by taking advantage of people.
