My boyfriend and I have been loving your videos. They're very challenging for us but we do our best. Its nice to have something to work up to in our practice. We really like the way you explain things and make our arms hurt 😂. Would love to see you do a 30 day yoga challenge/program if you ever have time. Much love from Utah!

I absolutely loved this flow Nicole. You bring everything I look for in a yoga class, something to challenge my body in ways its not used to. I have been involved in strengthening my body for years now, but you always through something in which allows me to push past my comfort zone. The crow pose one for example, with the leg straight and then crossed... how on earth did you do that and talk!

I have osteo in the knee. Coming from pistol squat to Extended leg not easy. Do you suggest pistol squat for knee issues?
@NicoleWild4 жыл бұрын
This is a great question Barbara! To know for sure, I'd talk to a doctor or PT. I am not certified (ESPECIALLY over the internet) to know the details of each condition/injury. However, if you are questioning it - I'd say don't do it. It's simply not worth hurting yourself. If a movement is ever causing pain, don't do it! The "uncomfortable" sensation that comes with stretching or strengthening can be healthy. But sharp pains or tension in a joint means you've gone too far! I hope this helps!

I love to hear this!! That is definitely a perk of working at home. Thanks for spending your lunch hour with me! I use the Manduka Teacher's mat. It's 5 years old by now - but I'd guess they still have it. It's HUGE - not a mat that you roll up and move around. It stays laid out on the floor all of the time. I hope this helps. Hi Taravat! I am sorry to hear you're having problems with your back. It sounds like it could be a medical issue that should be addressed by a doctor! Especially when teaching on the internet, it's impossible for me to know exactly what individuals need in their own practice (as much as I wish I could). And if you're dealing with a serious injury - that's out of my scope of practice as a teacher to address. I hope that you find some movement that feels good on your back - that sounds like NO fun! Wishing you healing!
@paulcosta20584 жыл бұрын
Nicole, feel free to ignore this one. I just wanted to say the hair and makeup is all well and good, but it's really not necessary, so if you're ever running short on time, please don't fret about about that :-) PS - you're overdue for a "make something up."

ha! Thanks Paul. I appreciate that. And you're RIGHT. I haven't said that in a bit. I actually just recorded next week's class today. But the following one will definitely include a 'make something up' and a shout-out! :P

@@NicoleWild OMG! A girl who said a guy was right, I can't believe my ears, LOL. Nicole, you'll be happy to know, by posting that video last week, you got me back in "the flow" literally and figuratively because I've done yoga 5 times in the past week after a two month hiatus 😬The bright side is I was still working out with my best friend who is a personal trainer and riding my bike, so I haven't been a total slug and felt stronger, which was a pleasant surprise...A couple things you'll appreciate: during said hiatus I strained my wrist opening a jar of peanut butter, which made me think of you, and I open mouth exhale all the time to de-stress, thanks to you. Keep up the good work. You're a rock star!

@@NicoleWild It's okay, it healed quickly, LOL. Like everything with me, it's a long story. Teddy peanut butter, a Boston brand, is supposedly all natural and the oil separates when you keep the jar right side up, but if you keep it upside down it doesn't. So, I had to fasten the jar really tight, so it wouldn't leak and when I went to open it I forgot how strong I was, which caused the injury.

Hi Stephanie! I always appreciate kind feedback. It is so challenging to know how to label classes - as they're really only a broad guideline. I've also had people comment on my 'advanced' classes saying that they weren't 'advanced.' I think the most important thing is that I'm consistent, up-front that it is meant to be challenging, and that it's so important for everyone to listen to their own bodies. I'm always open to feedback about ways that I can make it very clear what you'll be doing during the practice! Regardless, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with me!

Hey, I don't mean to be the only negative comment here but I find it really distracting that you're talking while your moving. I suggest putting the audio over your videos afterwards and adding a bit of music. I feel like you're taking away the feeling of meditating bc it's more like an instruction rather than a a yoga session. It seems to work for many and I'm sure many people would agree with me as well.
