I do find that 1) she cooks miserly portions for many of her guests & 2) she doesnt use much or any salt - even a little malrs food taste better and enhances any other seasonings.

I think the curry had enough seasoning with the curry paste, chicken stock and fish sauce. But I suspect everyone does their own seasoning at the table off-screen.
