I bought 3 sizes in the Premium and I really love the way they perform. Very easy to clean by hand and dry… with a kitchen towel! None of that paper towel lint for me 😂

Also, a cleaning tip: the bottom plate will start to get dark after constant use. To keep that from happening, use easy-off no fume oven spray.

The Premium is the way to go.. hands down.. it does retain heat better.. but also a recomended 5 min heat up as well.. I put mine on and start getting all my stuff together like cast iron.. a couple of min and I add butter or oil or both or reduce the heat a little.. my heat never ever goes above 6.5.. Oh and one more tip.. mine was far cheaper to buy right from Ninja.. especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas.. I got my Foodi 6.5 qt.. there as well and I am a prime member and I use it.. LOL.. just fyi.. Amazon is not always the best deal.. and a browser search sometimes does not turn up the best deal as they do not pay google or the search enginse for "first pick".. Great show again.. glad I found you.. reviews and recipees.. winner!

The more browning on the Premium, could be because of where the pan was located in the oven... I would try doing just eggs and cheese and put both pans back in the oven but swap locations, see if you get the same results...

Terrific review and info! We made an emergency purchase of an Essentials pan at Walmart and have been very happy with it. Now we know what the step up to Premium means. By the way, that stainless bottom has worked really well on our electric stovetop. We didn’t realize the trouble our carbon steel pans would have when we moved to the country…and electric cooking. Thanks!❤

Thank you so much for this information, you actually saved me cause I didn't know Ninja made two different sets. And I ordered the a set online for about 400, and to find it was the Essential set. So canceled that order and went straight to Bed Bath and Beyond and got a Premium 13 piece for a unbelievable price 279 when it's actually 399. So thank you for saving cause I watched this video. So Yay!!! I won!!! Thank you again so much for saving me.

Mine are the heavier premium version. They say the premium cooks more evenly due to the heavier base? 3+ years now, multiple pans, (2 frying pans, saute pan, wok), heavy use, no dishwasher, hand wash only, no metal utensils, bamboo, silicone, plastic only, no Pam or spray on non-stick, just regular oil or butter, bought individually, not as set. So far they are still going strong.

"EXCELLENTLY DETAILED REVIEW! Prior to seeing your review I obtained the Ninja Essential complete set & heard mixed reviews ranging from 100% satisfaction to complaints of not being truly non-stick & easily scratches. If proper care is taken in cooking & cleaning all these products there should be no problem. I believe some users can become complacent and eventually get too comfortable after awhile and forget to keep the proper steps of maintenance on these fantastic pots & pans. I to use only silicone whisks, spatulas and tongs w/ this equipment because just one time I quickly used a fork to turn over a piece of meat and the fork slipped very lightly and scratched the pan very easily, but it's not very noticeable except to me... only silicone from here on in. I watch Chef Jacque Pepin make omelets with a fork stirring briskly in the pan the egg but I will never do that and have purchased a mini silicone whisk that has only a 3/4-in diameter that mimics a fork and have had great success using his style of omelet making this way. The premium pan that you displayed cost so much more AS A SET because of course there's more pieces to purchase, but I think piece per piece the Premium is the way to go, especially the way you demonstrated the browning being a bit better with the Premium set, but if someone takes good care of these pans and uses common sense they can't go wrong with either set. If you're more budget-minded the Ninja Essential is the way to go, but if you've got a little extra coin the Premium set with the solid handle is best especially since the solid handle prevents food particles and other junk from going down the hollow handle like the Essential does, but it's a small inconvenience when you have excellent pans that will serve you well for years if you take good care of it and not treat them like stainless steel pans or take to heart when manufacturer says 'non-stick' or 'non scratch,' and then taking a jackhammer type of technique to it! Thank you for a great review, and look forward to more since I have now subscribed!😊

I bought premium. Don't Buy. I was so happy and in love with my Nija cookware when I got it and told everyone I could how great they are but six months later I see so much peeling around the rims and in my medium pot it felt bumpy and I was like what the heck and then I couldn't believe my eyes while I heated the water before adding a flavored knorr rice packet; the bottom of the pan was bubbling up. And when I emptied it I smoothed out the bubbles and this yucky brown liquid probaly water mixed with what ever crud from the pan under the nonstick coating smooshed out from under the coating. Super gross. Also I bought the 10 piece set and added the medium pan an extra 3 1/2 quart pan in the dark grey plus I bought the 8 quart pot in red and the red is peeling so easily off the pot. Keep in mind I only use silicone utensils and use towels between the pots when stacking. And the red pot has only been used 4 times.

I got the premium 10 pc set over 2 years ago......the Premium is MUCH more heavy duty....much better made....worth the increase in price. That being said, they are STILL non stick.....and the bottom only of my 1.5 and 2.5 qt sauce pans began to bubble up a few months ago. I've been doing some research, and aside from the possible health issues with non stick, they are, ultimately, disposable....so I will go to high quality stainless cookware for my next set....although I have enjoyed the way the Premium set has cooked my food....while a little slow to come to temp, they go like gangbusters once they do, with very even heating!
@kdm71291 Жыл бұрын
Oh, and you can see a difference right away when you look at the handles....the "Essential" has a hollow handle made from thin sheet metal....I mean, look at where it's Riveted to the pan...the "Premium" is solid cast.
