@@pressurecrisp I feel so sorry for you all over there in the states with vast numbers of people who now have Covid - 19 and all the people who have and are dying from it. "Doom head, Boris Johnson" has made the stupid statement of telling us we can all go in to see our loved ones over Christmas and hug them which I am so pleased to say the nursing home manager balked at and said "no way" so she is keeping my mum as safe as she can. Hopefully, the vaccine that has just arrived will be given to the residents as soon as possible to help protect them. But thank you for bringing back fond memories of mum Lisa.

@@flybe146 Oh how I would love to. give my. mom. hug but the reality is its not going to happen anytime. soon. So I just window visit cook for her and. pick up her favorite Toffee hot chocolate. Numbers are soaring over here-I just continue to do what I have done since the beginning-mostly avoid people lol. I do get together with my nurse friends outside at parks and such. In regard to the vaccine-not to be negative its not a magic bullet(not 100%) and the virus will mutate and I don't feel like it has been tested good enough also the long term effects of the vaccine. And Boris well....don't want to get political. :)

Hi, Your video was fantastic. Loved it! Your calzones came out great. Looked delicious! I so looking forward to your next video's. You brought that oven to about it's highest expectations. Pizza dough :)) Here I go with my...to much information. But you said you didn't mind :)). I love you! You are my favorite youtube cook. You bake so much from scratch and of coarse we all like a little shortcut now and then. I found some are just better at the tecky stuff and don't have really good recipes with their videos. They just cook with frozen stuff. I make everything from scratch..at least most. Your dough skills are very good. Your dough looked good and even had those lovely bubbles. Means the beasties yeast have still some sugar in the dough to feed on. I liked the crumb shot and it looked great on the hottest cooked calzones/ time. Bubbling of the interior/done was great too. Here's a good hint. The dough naturally shrinks back when rolling it..or hand flipping it. It's the gluten again...roll it out and let it sit a few minutes and then roll again/repeat. It will be less resilient. Personally I like hand stretching the dough. I have a small baking stone made for another countertop oven. I may give it a try in my Nxloven. Your dough was fine and would have more flavor from the extra fermentation time. It will be a lot more 'slack', the longer it sets in the frig.. sticky. Sticky is good. To much flour and handling makes a tuff dough. The hotter the oven the better. Best indoor pizza's/calzone come out of a pre-heated stone in an oven heated as hot as it will go. My big oven goes to 550 and the stone is preheated at least 45 minutes to an hour. Yes, pizza dough loves it super hot. Wood fired oven 750F at least. Cooks in 1/2 minutes. Pizza/calzones done in 7 minutes give or take a couple in indoor oven. I love making pizza. In my home oven and in my wood fired oven. I have made pizza's, calzones, all styles and formulas from many famous pizza chefs/books. Yes.. make your own dough..so easy even throw ingredients in your bread baking oven if you have one and want easy. Always let your dough ferment at least one to three days in the frig. that's the flavor/relaxes the gluten. The dough has to be just as fantastic flavor as the topping or fillings. Place your already separated dough balls into 'use a small amount olive oil' into a small zip lock bags and refrigerate until ready to use. Wait until at least the next day. They'll slide out easily. OMG. You are so great. You got a 'lodge baker'. Guess what. It's great for baking sourdough bread in. Many bread bakers use them. Though I do use another method's/pots now. Pre-heat/450F slide your dough in on parchment cover and bake. It will steam and bake it lovely. The bottom will be dark..that's fine..carmelization is flavor. Well that's another story....please forgive my rantings. I'm a bread baking fanatic! Happy Holiday Baking

You. are a wonderful teacher! Learning so much from you! Oh and I'm visiting your house you have a wood fired pizza oven! :) I'm going to look online for a stone that will fit into the oven and see how hot I can get it. Make my own dough and give it a try. I like the Lodge baker-made pizza, and bake a loaf of bread while camping-sear an awesome steak too. Thanks. Sylvia1234!

You inspired me to experiment with the SmartXL Pro oven and what I call AF Taco Cheese Meat Pie I made homemade dough and used a baking mat. My first attempt. I started out on AF at 390°F and then switched over to Bake 350°F after they were a nice golden brown. I baked them until the bottoms started browning up. Not too bad for first experiment. I’ve been using the oven more lately and discovering this thing is totally underrated. I’m also trying to determine if I want to jump off the deep end again and get the new Double Oven. Lol

Thanks I enjoy your videos and I learned a lot. I wonder if it would've browned different if they were cooked on the pan? I've made dough in my ninja blender. I think in one of your video's for the other oven I gave you the recipe. I got it from one of Ninja's many cook books. If you need it let me know. It turns out great. Also I've used cottage cheese instead of ricotta. Fewer calories works the same and my family doesn't know the difference.

I'm going to try this a few more times-using the pan I will give aa try -when I preheat will do it with the pan in for much longer preheat time. and I need. to take the time and see if I can find a pizza stone that will fit. inside the oven. I used. to have one for my. Coleman baking oven-I take it camping-but I cant see to find it. I'll give the Nina recipe a try -thank you R MM!

I mean look at how they turned out . . #Yummy. That’s is part of what makes your videos so popular. Good normal everyday lady try to make normal every day meals in her new oven.
