Me too but... After a while I researched smells like teen spirit and saw a video that explained a little about it. Kurt didn't expect the success of this song and expresses several things in a subliminal way, in short: He hated those teenagers who only saw a song as "fans" and so that's why he started playing Smells Like teen Spirt badly so that the " fans" leave. Ever since Kurt said he didn't like Smells Like Teen Spirit, every Nirvana fan feels the need to agree with him and say it sucks because they have taken idol worship beyond the point where they can have their own opinions. Stop telling people that they're not a true fan if this is their favorite, music taste is subjective. It's not my favorite Nirvana song, but I'd put it as one of their best.
